Did Bush & Blair forget to evacuate someone?

We've had 14 years and 4 different Prime Minister since Blair.
There has been 3 different Presidents since Bush.

How much of the blame do they warrant?

Trump started negotiations with the terrorists.
Biden sold everyone out in an act of cowardly and shameful desertion.

I know exactly where the finger of blame should be pointing.

If I was 'angry' I assure you, you would know.
I'm not 'angry', far from it.

Just pointing a couple of things out.

I'd also suggest that I have quite a good understanding of the English language and my comprehension skills are ok.

Show me where I said OldCarpy DIDN’T know what he was talking about. I’ll wait.

"Here in the former Colonies, “contempt” IS a “legal thing”, Baby! "

Sort of implies that carpy was wrong when he said that 'contempt' was not a legal thing.

I would advise you in future to speak for yourself.

Sorry mate, I'm not very good at taking advice from random strangers on the internet.

I notice you're a new member so I'll give a certain amount of leeway on this....ATS is a public site and people are free - even actively encouraged - to comment on anything they wish to provided they observe site T&C's.
I find it quite humorous when new members try to teach me about ATS posting etiquette.

So, with all due respect, I'll continue posting on and replying to whatever I see fit to.

Now there was no insult or anything intended in my first reply to you and similarly there is no intent in this one.
Please don't take it that there is.

Sigh…so here we are again…Mud Pit here we come!

I’m not very good at taking advice from random strangers on the internet either, ‘Mate’.
You obviously missed what I said in my reply to you about making an “attempt at humor”. I believe it was this reference to a line from Austin Powers that clearly set you off. Not my problem.

And here’s a reminder: As a member, you have no “leeway” to give anyone, even IF people are free “to comment on anything they wish to provided they observe site T&C's.” (Which I did but which seems to have gotten you riled).

But to your point: “Sort of implies that carpy was wrong when he said that 'contempt' was not a legal thing.” It implies no such thing, since I was careful to point out I was speaking about the U.S. (“former colonies”) as opposed to the U.K. and it’s Parliament. Apparently, that escaped your attention…as did the fact that OldCarpy is more than capable of defending himself without your help.

“Now there was no insult or anything intended in my first reply to you and similarly there is no intent in this one.
Please don't take it that there is. Please don't take it that there is.” I don’t read minds, so I’ll have to trust you on that. But I’m just not convinced.

“So, with all due respect, I'll continue posting on and replying to whatever I see fit to.” As will I—new member or not.

New Info?

The United Kingdom says there is "no way" it would enter any military partnership with the United States, while the Inept Joe Biden is our Commander-in-chief. Many U.K. troops would needlessly be killed.

Nigel Farage says it, anyway. But Nigel Farage is a private individual, so that's his personal opinion that he's offering

Who could blame them? In fact, I wouldn’t blame them if they severed the partnership for the foreseeable future. They lose some great young men, as do we, and for what? Last time we left our Allies in the lurch like this was Vietnam. At least Vietnam is now a trading partner. Makes me wonder what those 58,000 Americans plus Aussies, Canadians, South Koreans and others all died for.

I really think you're making a mountain of a molehill and as a result making yourself seem rather silly.

The only person seeming 'riled' and angry is your good self.

No. Nigel Farage is not the United Kingdom and does not speak for the UK. Sorry to disappoint.

Google him.

I tend to disagree with you, with any due possible respect.

Not sure what you are not understanding about my reply? As in they are all clowns?

Sorry if that does not accord with your particular prejudice.

Got right into the Tyskie as of of late…..lol…..by far the best on the shelf at Tesco……highest alcohol volume compared to the rest…..lol

Also seems to have the effect of jumping to nonsensical conclusions to someone else’s posts…..it’s like the opposite to wife beating Stella Artois…..you just beat yourself with stupid responses….but it does the job…lol

On another note though, I’m southwest uk, born and bread…..everything goes in bread, from a Sunday roast with mash potato, to ham eggs chips and beans……….

I’m like the guy from wizard of oz…pay no attention to the man behind the curtain……lol

Again no offence meant, just alcohol infused reaction.

The west rules.

A few years ago I saw the Wurzels in a local field. 2 combine harvesters either side of the stage. Epic. Ran out of cider after 30 mins.

Legendary.
