An Alabama doctor is reportedly refusing to treat unvaccinated patients, tells them to get COVID shot because he 'can't watch them die'

Is he refusing to see smokers, drinkers, people that eat fast food, people that don't exercise enough? I think not!
Most of the people that go to the Doctor are there to treat something. Ever been to Alabama, I lived there, the vast majority of the state
is morbidly unhealthy!

This is just silly. What about people that can't get shots, what about people that do get shots and still get sick.
Do hospitals/medical systems/insurances actually allow this?

As an Englishman my obvious question is are they allowed to do this?

I'm assuming it's just a business at the end of the day and people can just choose to use another doctor?

It seems a bit risky given he's refusing to deal with maybe half his patients?

My response to him would simply ne

"Gee, thanks Doc, I had no idea you were a clueless moron, now I don't have to waste any more money on you!"

It's as simple as that then?

No different to choosing to take your car to a different garage or pulling your kids out of a school and sending them to another one?

Seems like this doctor's either dumb or wants to go bust I guess.

Looks to be. Positive reviews also coming in from pro-jabbers.

He's on health grades as well.

While yes, he will obviously lose patients because of this, it will likely gain some new patients too. I assume some vaccinated people will leave their current regular Doctor to go to this one, if their regular Doc is still allowing the 'wretched unvaccinated' in his office/clinic.

Whether or not those numbers balance out, i have no idea. I'm just saying he will lose some, and gain some.

I suppose it's his right to choose who he does business with?

You can't complain that it's discrimination or anything?

I don't really understand how things work in the US to be honest, it seems very strange compared to the UK.

This is in alignment with the state-sponsored segregation going on.

It is as simple as that in the USA unless/until the insurance companies get involved and dictate that they will only cover "vaccinated" subscribers... then it's all out the window and the #show will become a #stravaganza.

I'm not sure how I feel about that to be honest.

On the one hand it is totally abhorrent.

On the other he is a business man and free to do business as he chooses.

Back to class segregation on who is clean and who is tainted. All based on a medical procedure.

If I'm honest I'm glad I don't have to.

You should try having a queen and never knowing if it's going to suddenly rain for a week solid for no reason.
