State Dept knows how many Americans are in Afghanistan because they have rfid passport data.

The number must be 50,000+ or they would never have the Executive Branch giving out conflicting reports😃

They know how many Afghans too because of those special passports 😃

Kicked down the road? People like you voted him out and put this tool 46 in office.

Pompeo talked about what they said to the Taliban. If they strayed from the agreement they would be crushed. Again, ask Soleimani if 45 meant business. Oh thats right, you can't because he is dead....

Well, the Taliban did stray from the agreement and attacked a bunch of Afghani forces and facilities and shelled American bases, and Trump did nothing.

Not according to the State Department.

But at the State Department briefing later in the day, spokesman Ned Price also said the administration doesn’t have a full count of Americans, saying US citizens don’t have to register as being in a foreign country.

“It’s a voluntary thing,” he said.

"The reason we can't give you a precise number is that we ask Americans, when they come to Afghanistan, to register with the embassy. Many come and do that, but then they leave and never deregister," Sullivan said. "Many others come and don't register at all. That is their right. It was their right, of course, to remain in Afghanistan as long as they wanted and it's our responsibility to get them out."

LOL, can you quote your source for that? I know you can't, you just pulled it out of your ass.
Even the short bus riders know you pull civilians, then equipment, then troops. We have done this before, many times, many places.

Can you. Please source Trump's plan to get private American citizens out of Afghanistan, other than by State Department advisories, advising citizens to GTFO? Please cite how many American citizens Trump did evacuate before pulling 10,500 troops out.

Okay. So the Taliban broke the deal, then the Trump administration broke the deal. Great deal, huh?

So now the Taliban is throwing a terroristic fit over Biden breaking the deal by extending the withdrawal period by 4 months and keeping 600 troops. And we're blaming Biden for the Taliban's actions.

Shaking my head.

Biden says he'll pull out by Aug 31st, but some rumors say it'll be before because of a planned "incident" 😃

And still nobody knows about the secret business deals in place with Afghanistan's key GNP packages 😎

One can only hope. I think I saw some MOABs laying around in that area somewhere.

You have no idea what he would have done.

No, foreign citizens aren't required by US law to register in a host country, this much is correct. However, they do get their passport scanned when they leave the country, and when that happens they have to fill out an e-form which states where they are going.

So, the Dept. of State saying they don't know how many is complete BS! They know exactly how many American citizens are in Afghanistan. That's just a bald face lie.

Could somebody enter bogus data on the e-form? Sure, but why would someone want to do this?

ETA - What they don't know is how many people got out to an intermediate country (unless that country cooperates with INTERPOL), but if their assumption is anything more than about 5% then they're on the pipe!

Here it is buddy.

Joe Biden’s State Department moved to cancel a critical State Department program aimed at providing swift and safe evacuations of Americans out of crisis zones just months prior to the fall of Kabul, The National Pulse can exclusively reveal.

The “Contingency and Crisis Response Bureau” – which was designed to handle medical, diplomatic, and logistical support concerning Americans overseas was paused by Antony Blinken’s State Department earlier this year. Notification was officially signed just months before the Taliban’s takeover of Afghanistan.

“SENSITIVE BUT UNCLASSIFIED,” an official State Department document from the Biden State Department begins, before outlining the following move the quash the Trump-era funding for the new bureau.
The document is from the desk of Deputy Secretary of State Brian P. McKeon, confirmed in March by the United States Senate.

Please see source for the official documents. I win, have a good day!

This is absolutely correct. But we DO know what he DIDNT do and he DIDN'T leave upwards of 10-15,000 U.S. citizens for the wolves like BIDEN DID.

“My Administration prioritized keeping Americans safe, Biden leaves them behind. Canceling this successful Trump Administration program before the withdrawal that would have helped tens of thousands Americans reach home is beyond disgraceful. Our withdrawal was conditions-based and perfect, it would have been flawlessly executed and nobody would have even known we left. The Biden execution and withdrawal is perhaps the greatest embarrassment to our Country in History, both as a military and humanitarian operation.”

There was still at least 2,500 plus troops there. I suggest you read my last few posts.

Oh no! The Biden Administration paused the establishment of a bureau that had not yet been established, whose services already existed!

A State Department spokesperson told Fox News in a Wednesday email that it “is important to note that not only would the proposed Contingency and Crisis Response Bureau not have introduced any new capabilities to the Department, it was never formally established.”

And moreover, the State Department’s capabilities to coordinate evacuations already existed — including a program that was initially set up under President Barack Obama, but which right-wing media are now attempting to attribute solely to President Donald Trump.
