No, but they'll have taken precautions and have armed overwatch orbiting the airport, and helos down low. There's a video of two AH-64s flying slowly down the runway and the side of the runway clearing people off, using their rotor wash, so a C-17 can take off.

I hear there's conflicting reports that we may have shot some people to clear the runway. Have you heard anything about that?

I also stumbled across that gem this morning, definitely not for the faint of heart. Or even the strong-stomached, it's hard to watch & comprehend their Point of No Return desperation.

This admin won't be remembered for just poor domestic policies & Wokeism, so much as it'll be remembered for dropping a foreign-soil, supposedly pre-planned for (yeah right) evacuation ball bigger than hell. If what I read about Biden NIXING Trump's want of satellite and additional aerial support was right, then that can be construed in hindsight as both blinding them, AND ripping an arm off. That's not mud or egg on the face, that's a vat of blood awaiting the Swan Dive.

Unfortunately the majority of voting adults will never hear the half of it. The Democrat media will protect Biden at whatever cost. Our predecessors who sat by while these people took control of the media, academia, and every other major institution in this country are to blame.

I haven't. I've only seen the videos of the helos. Shooting anyone on the runway would do more harm than good though. I'll keep my ears open about it though.

I doubt our people shot anyone near the a/c.
If you watch the video of the plane rolling on the tarmac, you will have little doubt that the people that were killed were either trampled or run over by the tires of the a/c. They were crowded in a throng, jumping onto the nose gear, under the aircraft and sitting on the main gear doors. I have no doubt that more dead were found cruched or frozen in the main gear wells.

No gore in this video on Twitter.

Fox is showing the video with the people holding onto the outside of the plane while rolling. I don't thank they have the guts to show the falling from the flying plane.

Found a tweet about a Afgahn military plane being shot down Sunday by Uzbekistan’s air defense system while illeagly entering that country. I haven't found any other information on this.

There were initial and local news reports of US troops firing indiscriminately at the crowds after warning shots didn't work but now seems to have caused less deaths than initially feared.

The taxi'ing jets did run over and kill at least three civillians and US forces did shoot dead two Afghans who were trying to board a plane; but the US is trying to claim they were armed. There's a further three more dead on the ground atleast but likely to be from the stampede to escape.

The main outlets still running the indiscriminate shooting angle are Chinese and Iranian state-run; not that this wasn't the US military version of Tienamen Square.

Fox is now mentioning the people being so desperate to get out that they are holding onto the outside of planes and falling from them while flying. They are also reporting the shooting of some on the tarmac/runway.

Also more troops being sent in to help with the airport chaos. Three thousand were not enough without any real leadership sent with the force to secure the airport.

I am saying that they weren't shooting towards our aircraft, and from the videos, there had to be people killed because of being stupid and trying to sit on or hold on to the aircraft.

An A-29 definitely crashed in Uzbekistan, injuring both pilots. I haven't heard anything about it being shot down yet.

CNN : All flights are on hold until the runway can be secured. They are reporting the people being in the way of the flight operations but not showing the ones trying to hold onto the planes. No mention of the ones falling off in flight.

Biden returning and probably going to speek on this problem later today.

They are runing the video of the Biden "not at all comparable" to Vietnam.

CNN seems to be waking up a little at least on this story that is so big that they can't cover for it.

Kinda surprised it hasn't gotten any traction in the US media. They're normally quick to take up anything that makes our military look bad, no verification needed.

The initial reports can simply be a mistake. Someone reports they were firing weapons, someone else reports there are some dead people, and the media connect the two and run with it without checking that the dead people were actually killed by gunfire. Happens all the time.

CNN now reporting that the two who were shot were armed.

They have now shown the videos of the people holding onto the outside of the planes. Still nothing on the falling.

It is looking like the MSM are checking the bus scheduled for the Biden administration. Just in case.

It is a strange one, NBC did a tiny bit on it 10 - 12 hours ago with someone from the DoD saying two armed Afghans had been shot dead trying to board the plane, but there's doesn't seem to be anything like the level of detail we're getting in the UK.

Especially odd as the videos have so many parralels with the famous footage of people jumping from the twin towers to escape their certain fate that ld us into the conflict.

CNN now reporting flights have resumed but slowley.

I think the stopage of the flights had more to do with it being night there. They could not verify that the runway was clear of people in the dark. It is morning there now.
