Part of me is wondering if this is more what the prevailing weather patterns looked like the last time there was a mega drought out in the desert southwest.

If so, we wouldn't know because they didn't really have much of a way to record it, and that kind of weather pattern hasn't existed since the cliff dwellers died out down there, but it was hot and dry enough to press some serious cultures out of existence in the southwest, so it very well could have pushed some serious heat anomalies up the west coast.

Damn, Lytton B.C. has pretty much burned up, they say 90% of the town/village gone. It was about 118' a few days ago. It have cooled off, but too late for some, not that cooling off changes much at this point..in terms of fires.

See if you can get any deals on parkas and other winter wear. Of course I suspect CRKT isn’t cranking out any knives in this heat..
