Thanks for posting this. I have only recently begun using DuckDuckGo exclusively. At least it hasn't become a habit like Google was. Thanks to all who listed alternatives to check out.

Qwant success, I have been looking for a Dan Bongino episode where one of the topics was " Why are Liberals so dumb " with Duck Duck Go I wasn't able to find it but with Qwant it was No1 in the results as show No #1490.

I literally have been looking for this show for more than a week now, I consider it to be one of Dan's best shows, the kids really wanted to re watch it.

Man I am so Happy.

Thankyou for the real-world experience sharing. Going right now to check out Qwant.

Huh,
. Make up your own search engine, so goes the left implying so.

I use different search engines for different things.

Google thinks I'm interested in furry puppies, rainbows and unicorns.

Some other (nameless) search engines think I'm interested in witchdoctor-y, Voodoo and fornicating monkeys.

And yet others (also nameless) think I am in the midst of overthrowing the Universe.

Keep 'em guessing, I say.

I think I know what you are referring to, might it be Transhumanisim, because Elon Musk is sure working on some terrifying stuff, such as linking the human mind to the internet etc...

No, that's not what I referring to, TzarChasm is pretty close.

You already commented, dropping a deliberate suggestion that you have information of significant impact.

See above.

For a starter take a look at who runs Iowa's mobile driver's license, it's the first in the nation and certainly not the last.

I don't need a search engine tailored to one side , just had a look for a Conservative search engine that might help you out.

Pretty sure the OP doesnt either, I know I want a neutral one.

Am I reading this from people who are afraid of vaccinations because of 5G? While holding a perfect capable tool to spy on them in every detail of their online life in their hands?

And you want to go back to google, the universal data-kraken, the grandmother of all-your-data-belongs-to-me?

Not a single doubt?

What did foxnews tell you now? What bs did they feed you this day, that you completely disregard any chance of having a not-absolute loss of privacy over your BELIEVE that you might not get your "values" correctly valued by a search engine?

If you really want this, nobody will hinder you - the people worried about privacy will give you up. The people who want to sell everything they can find out about you will embrace you with open arms and data ports.

But know this: the fear about "not having my values regarded by this search engine" is the most stupid thing I have heard for a long time and leads to another steep downfall of this website by users who are willing to follow like sheep while thinking they are oh so clever.

This is not the way to solve your problem with values, the true news and disregarding your privacy.

This is so wrong on so many levels.

Choosing to use a search engine based on the amount of data that company provides to you and stores is not about "solving a problem with values."

The problem is that MY DATA is MY DATA. A 10 year old's data is that 10 year old's data. Not Google's.

These massive monopolies pose a problem, not just for privacy (which, I might add, is not a value, but a basic human right as laid out by our constitution...), but for overall control of power.

But hey, when your culture still props up royalty, who cares about privacy, right?

Also, DuckDuckGo buys results from Bing. That's why you're seeing links being censored.

WTF are you guys searching for that you fear the results are being tainted?

Also a simple question here...

If all of the major search providers are "Left" or "run by Biden's people" or whatever the # you think, WHY?

Why aren't any of these services run or influenced by "Right" leaning entities?

Should be a simple answer

I don't know if this is what you expected me to find but it was the most interesting result of my brief research.

id4d.worldbank.org...

ID4D Country and regional engagement frequently begins with a diagnostic exercise—previously called an “Identity Management Systems Analysis (IMSA)”—of existing and planned identification systems. The ID4D Diagnostic Guidelines methodology was developed in collaboration with governments and development partners, and provides a holistic approach to a country’s identity ecosystem, including institutions, technology, laws, policies, and practices related to identification. It is guided by the ten Principles on Identification for Sustainable Development, which offer a framework for the realization of robust, inclusive, and responsible digital identification systems.

Principles

Pillar 1: Inclusion

1. Ensure universal access for individuals, free from discrimination.
2. Remove barriers to access and use.

Pillar 2: Design

3. Establish a trusted—unique, secure, and accurate—identity.
4. Create a responsive and interoperable platform.
5. Use open standards and prevent vendor and technology lock-in.
6. Protect privacy and agency through system design.
7. Plan for financial and operational sustainability.

Pillar 3: Governance

8.Protect personal data, maintain cyber security, and safeguard people’s rights through a comprehensive legal and regulatory framework.
9. Establish clear institutional mandates and accountability
10. Enforce legal and trust frameworks through independent oversight and adjudication of grievances.

These principles appear to tie back into the infographic I posted previously.

Am I getting warmer?

You're pretty much there.

Iowa's MDL will be run by IDEMIA, take a peek at their Wikipedia. Good times are coming.

I might be imagining things but I thought I detected a transhumanism undertone related to optimizing the interface between disabled/semi abled clients and this sustainable development technology.

That's a long way off if ever, the current goal is dumb AI algorithms tied to your MDL and buying habits (among other things). The company running this already does retail applications.

I was thinking in terms of implants that enable quicker access to broadcast/data storage networks and more efficient dissemination, which is a cornerstone of information systems management. But I agree with your evaluation.
