It's really hard to bitch about the government abusing technology to manipulate society, without exploiting said technology to effectively broadcast our dissatisfaction as a society.

Actually, they do. By creating a monopoly and putting alternative choices out of business. It would be no different than one oil company buying out the others in order to establish exorbitant prices on gasoline or refined oil.

Google, Facebook and Twitter especially all need broken up. Once we regain control of the government, I expect this will be a top priority.

*Many of us do live off the grid, in every way that matters. We don't give these companies our data, and what little they do have is generally misinformation specifically crafted to throw off their garbage algorithms. That still doesn't eliminate the need for instant access to information, raw news (not MSM tainted), etc.

Again, why D/C from the Internet when we can simply use TOR + Startpage, along with foreign search engines (reliable sources, like those in Russia, Brazil, etc). Software like "Signal" messenger also enables strong 256-bit secure telephone calls and text messaging. All out of reach from losers like Google and government agencies alike.

DDG is actually tied into Google history. Everything you got, even the emails with pictures while using DDG will show up on your computer if you know what you are doing. So yes, DDG may not track you , but the CIA ( Google inc. ) is.
You all that are computer savvy, though already know that.
