Wow, a POSSIBLE misdemeanor, good thing to kill someone over. Just incase you aren't following along in the thread they still cannot ask him for ID.

I can tell you what will happen ...they will arrest you until they can figure out who you are...
In New Jersey they cannot ask me for my ID at all. They can ask me to identify myself IF I am suspected of committing a crime.
FFS, you don't even know your own rights and you're trying to tell me mine.

Most states, drinking and open containers in public is a crime.
Guess you didn't watch the video, brohan, he wasn't drinking in public. It's always a good idea to educate yourself about a topic before speaking.
ETA: Kevin called the cops because, "He's not doing anything wrong. He's scaring my wife."
Does he have shopping baskets full of open containers next to him? You failed to address my full quote.
I see open containers. The definition of an open container is a alcohol container that may or may not have the lid on, but is not completely full and sealed. i.e. a partially empty liquor bottle with the cap on is considered an "open container".
www.gorelick-law.com...
"Like most states, California has prohibited the possession and consumption of an open container of alcohol in public places as well as in automobiles. If a person has an open container is on the streets, they may only be given a ticket. However, if an open container is in a car, the penalties are much more severe."
"Under California law, BPC 25620, it is an infraction for any person to possess an open container of alcohol in any public place. This applies to any can, bottle or other receptacle which has been opened, or seal was broken, or the contents have been partially removed. “Public” applies to any city or county park, city or county owned public place, recreational district or open space district."

So you agreed that sending an innocent police officer to prison because someone died of an overdose was justice? Oof.
Anyway, no riots for this guy. He's white, so who cares. Right?

Of course they can, you already admitted that. They had a misdemeanor crime "open container", and the LEOs had everything needed to request ID and by law, you would be required to provide it.
Informed, alert communities play a critical role in keeping our nation safe. We can all help keep our communities safe by learning the indicators of terrorism and terrorism-related crime, paying attention to our surroundings, and reporting suspicious activity to local law enforcement.
