Yep..
They show up...
Oh he's just drunk....
They leave...

He assaults someone...
He tries to drive and kills someone...
He walks into oncoming traffic...
He falls into a pond and dies...

Cops get sued...

Wow, a POSSIBLE misdemeanor, good thing to kill someone over. Just incase you aren't following along in the thread they still cannot ask him for ID.

Of course they can, you already admitted that. They had a misdemeanor crime "open container", and the LEOs had everything needed to request ID and by law, you would be required to provide it.

I can tell you what will happen ...they will arrest you until they can figure out who you are...

In New Jersey they cannot ask me for my ID at all. They can ask me to identify myself IF I am suspected of committing a crime.

FFS, you don't even know your own rights and you're trying to tell me mine.

"open container" is a crime. Wrong again AM.

So is public intoxication.
And I would guess having alcohol in a city park is too..

Most states, drinking and open containers in public is a crime.

Guess you didn't watch the video, brohan, he wasn't drinking in public. It's always a good idea to educate yourself about a topic before speaking.

ETA: Kevin called the cops because, "He's not doing anything wrong. He's scaring my wife."

Does he have shopping baskets full of open containers next to him? You failed to address my full quote.

I see open containers. The definition of an open container is a alcohol container that may or may not have the lid on, but is not completely full and sealed. i.e. a partially empty liquor bottle with the cap on is considered an "open container".

www.gorelick-law.com...
"Like most states, California has prohibited the possession and consumption of an open container of alcohol in public places as well as in automobiles. If a person has an open container is on the streets, they may only be given a ticket. However, if an open container is in a car, the penalties are much more severe."

"Under California law, BPC 25620, it is an infraction for any person to possess an open container of alcohol in any public place. This applies to any can, bottle or other receptacle which has been opened, or seal was broken, or the contents have been partially removed. “Public” applies to any city or county park, city or county owned public place, recreational district or open space district."

It is.

"Under California law, BPC 25620, it is an infraction for any person to possess an open container of alcohol in any public place. This applies to any can, bottle or other receptacle which has been opened, or seal was broken, or the contents have been partially removed. “Public” applies to any city or county park"

So you agreed that sending an innocent police officer to prison because someone died of an overdose was justice? Oof.

Anyway, no riots for this guy. He's white, so who cares. Right?

I didn't see where it was proven that Floyd died of an overdose. Even if he had, the police officer was grossly negligent and attributed at least a large part in Floyd's death and therefore was guilty of at least manslaughter. I don't think he intentionally killed Floyd and should not have been charged with murder (I think he should have been charged with manslaughter) but hey, the system isn't perfect and that's the way the cookie crumbles.

"Listen to my calm voice, as I kill you!"
Jesus

These cops are retards.
Too much focus on submission.
Get the guy in cuffs and sit him there.

Are these situations intentional?

That's fine, but it seems to me he couldn't even understand them, ot speak fluent english.
What's the protocol there.
Will our replacement voters justify a bilingual police force?

No
Your refusal to acknowledge individual rights is silly.
"A call" alone is justification of nothing.
We have this thing called the 4th ammendment and we have this thing called the 5th ammendment.
Again F your "call".

I'm well aware of the constitution, the bill of rights and I
assure you I would lay my life down defending their
principals. However you seem to be predictably more of an
opportunistic constitutionalist judging by your close minded attitude.
But feel free to stand up for your gay rights by all means. On this
occasion you're just wrong. No matter how many times you employ
the F word.

Because of "a call" I don't have to speak to an officer nor do I have to consent to any search.
F your "call"

As to your homophobic reference, you obviously have little respect for any rights.

The reason people don't mind their own business is because for many years now, our Government has been telling us not to.

DHS. See Something, Say Something

Informed, alert communities play a critical role in keeping our nation safe. We can all help keep our communities safe by learning the indicators of terrorism and terrorism-related crime, paying attention to our surroundings, and reporting suspicious activity to local law enforcement.

Reporting each and every single bit of nonsense you don't like, or don't understand, is the Patriotic thing to do.

Apparently, reporting people for standing there not bothering anyone, is what keeps our Nation safe and secure.

If you know anything about the law you would also know
the kicker to what I'm saying.

Simply upon observing this gentleman's actions as peculiar.
The officers can take him in for observation for not more than
72 hours. AT THEIR OWN DISCRETION.

Was it homophobic? Really?

Or was just a bit of humor to test your political polarity?

within 48 hours partner? I can even tell you why you're wrong
off the top of my head.

Because everyone arrested on Thursday Friday would have to be released on Monday. LMAO

Unless charges are filed
