'day penroc.

you every worry that one day something will hear you call and might be what you were expecting and might not leave, ever kind of like a shadow

What do you mean by "call"?

In Dante's Inferno in one of the last rings of hell were people who did things I cant say on ats and in the story it says these sinner were still know to the narrator at the time, so he was surprised to see him in hell, the person said his sin was so bad that his soul was replaced by a demon

???

Dante was a 16th century Italiano Catholic . . . .

"his sin was so bad that his soul was replaced by a demon" - I had a conversation with a Dutch Orthodox one time about the most terrible of sins. Apparently missing a single mass is one of the worst; a mortal sin I believe.

What was Virgil's sin?

And that would be;

Being a pagan soul, Virgil was not allowed to enter Paradise.

Paganism, in the broadest sense includes all religions other than the true one revealed by God, and, in a narrower sense, all except Christianity, Judaism, and Mohammedanism. The term is also used as the equivalent of Polytheism.

It is derived from the Latin pagus, whence pagani (i.e. those who live in the country), a name given to the country folk who remained heathen after the cities had become Christian.

Part three for yanny (and anyone else).

The Nature Beings of the Herbs within the Household of Nature are like little Lights that surround the plant. They work outside the plant working to bring the various substances and lights through the processes of the roots, stem, leaf, flower and seed. The sulphur, phosphorus, iron, potassium and the like. The astral too when the flowers arrive and the fruits.

Ideally one would have the yarrow plant growing in the garden. When it was desired to smoke the house with the incense, the Lights would simply appear.

The dried herb from the merchant is better than no herb at all. The Lights will still come when desired and when we have the knowledge of what we are doing.

In the ol' days the herbs were grown or gathered with respect for what they could do for the sick and injured. The knowledge of what we are doing is needed. Not the book-learning of the alchemist nor the occultist, just the knowledge of how things work.

Tis all that is needed when one has respect for what one is doing, and respect for those whom assist us.

To burn the yarrow with the sulphur the Lights creates the woof and warp of hessian from the plant material. Hessian is what it looks like to me with tiny hands patting the hessian with the Light Bearer sulphur as the "plaster".

The beeswax candle is used then. The wax adds another layer to the wall. How does it work? Well ponder why the bees seal their young within the honeycomb and why does the caterpillar spin a cocoon of silk . . .

With a few repeats of the process, layers form to create a 'plaster wall' of the Light Bearer to protect our home. The Light Bearers are called that because they are bearers of the lights of Nature. If sulphur is not, then the light born by sulphur is not.

Tis simply how it works.

An analogy: It is commonly said that the Spirits are pure or impure. For example; the Jinn are said to be Smokeless Fire and therefore pure. What of the impure? Then one may say the are "smokey fire". One can see them in that manner if one has the eyes to see; some are smokey and some are smokeless. Like the fairy they can have forms.

Now what happens with the wall of sulphurous light that we have built is the pure Beings pass through unheeded, and the impure hit the wall.

If the house is located on the fairy roads, it is lit as a holy place is lit in their eyes. They can always choose another road to continue on their way.

Tis simply how it works . . .

One more thing to consider. Try to think of the house as a five dimensional object rather than three dimensional. We know the first three. What about inside and outside?

A house,

is it . . .

a three dimensional structure?

Or a five dimensional one?

Where are we building our wall?

Where is our wall to be found?

Well . . .

the answer to that . . .

is simple.

Our wall . . .

is to be found . . .

between inside and outside.

Tis all deceptively simple really.

----------------------------

For the thoughtful:

The ol' folk tales of leaving a saucer of milk in thanks for the house brownie is not as quaint as it may seem. The milk can grow a child. The milk has everything needed for the child to grow. The Lights may use some of that if they happen to lack a substance in the soil.

Of course, the kindness in a child's eyes as they put out the saucer is a wonder and delight for the brownie too . . .

Part four.

Tis one thing to build, tis another thing to destroy. In magic; if one knows one, one should know both.

So there may be reason to remove the 'holy wall' we have built. Perhaps we are moving house and we wish to clean up after ourselves, as we should.

It is not difficult to decommission the 'wall' and turpentine distilled from the Pine trees (Pinus spp.) is what we would use. "Pure Gum Spirits of Turpentine" is what the merchants call it these days.

An aroma therapy device will do, no real need to employ fire directly. The method is to allow the turpentine smell to permeat each room in turn. A few times perhaps. The intuition is the guide.

The turpentine breaks down the wax and thus our 'wall' then looses it's strength and falls away. That is what one needs to know.

The Eucalyptus oil can be a substitute for the turpentine. Both will work.

--------------------------------

A note on mirrors in the house when building the 'wall'.

Think of mirrors as doorways. So when we build the 'wall' leave the mirrors uncovered and visible. The wall is also built over the mirror's surface if we think of it.

So too with the physical glass windows of our physical house and the vents, cielings, doors and floors.

I don't know about any of that witchy stuff

how ever

I go have quite the GREEN thumb and have done interesting cross breading with them

I have also been known to grow exotic fungus

I have tasted the leaf and root treasures of far off forests

and the rarest of the deserts fruit to the most esoteric of man made chemicals(alchemy)

I have used the products of plant and coxed crystals from root barks

i have even tried that Amazonian drink.

not to sound dramatic but filters and all that

back a few 1000 years ago stuff like that was for the 'seers', I have definitely seen beyond SOME vail and there are definitely creatures and technology there.

I wondered if you were referring to the ceremonial magic and all that when you used the word "call". So I asked.

I don't "call" them in the occult sense; just ol' fashioned good will between friends and aquaintences.

There is a funny thing about the ceremonial magic when folks assemble in a group and do their "stuff". They are networked.

We know all about computer networks and yeah, all good until the kid in his mom's basement n-map's the subnet. Not much difference really ; )

Best not to network in the first place.

It wasn't illegal a thousand years ago. "Suppression of the truth" was Timothy's arguement. Me? Well I would argue thus:

Why take a pill and be there five minutes later when years upon years of rigid self discipline and unlearning can achieve the same result?

Oh wait, that didn't come out well did it . . . . (frowny face icon).

Allow me to rephrase; shortcuts can get you lost out there and there be dragons awaiting . . .

As are dreams dismissed as ruminations of the subconscious.

But when things go wrong, we can be damaged psychically.

Well, yeah, Security measures insecurity is true enough. In our homes we have doors with locks and the feeling of security is a big part of making ourselves a home.

People have a need to feel safe, and the home is that place.

In these modern western times a lot of things are dismissed as superstition and "childish things".

My grandmother always had a bottle of holywater in her possession; she was a lot like the Americans with their guns. She would have no qualms at all of crossing the busy street 'to touch a Chinaman' (for luck). The western medicine uses lithium like holywater these days 'when things go bump in the night'.

Each to their own I suppose . . .

Afterthought, and just my observation here.

It matters not to the birds if we believe in them, or for that matter whether we disbelieve in them. The birds will still continue to fly about as they do.

In the centre of the snapdragon(?) is an 'girl' - she is beautiful. Perhaps milimeters tall scaled to the flower. Even smaller ones follow her lead.

Thanks cez and your welcome.

Is it a snapdragon?

For me the flower is seeing something I do not know what though.

I like the eyes.

Edit to add; Tis a wonderful photo, it makes me smile and I don't know why.

you ever hear about the Fibonacci number
aka the golden ratio

it is present in all of nature from the smallest of the small plat to the largest red wood to sea shells and even in math(obviously).
Our galaxy is a perfect example of a golden spiral/Fibonacci number

Aye, some of the artists are said to work with the golden ratio, Da Vinci(?). Fibonacci numbers I have read about, along with the fractiles and Brots.

I wonder about that 'snowflake' primary memory of the humans. It is water and freezes in a way (one of the sectrets of time I suppose). So the human being within the human body is a water Being.

Contrast with the Jinn who are said to be smokeless fire. (they are)

Fire and water . . .

While I think of it, while poking about in the Land of the Jinn, and listening to the Jinn themselves.

The Smokeless Fires are an aloof folk. I would call them fairy-folk, but not within their hearing. That is an insult to at least some of them. I was corrected in my thoughts at the time.

When in Rome, do as the Romans do is always good advice.

So, to the point.

A single quote from Al-Jinn

(The) Jinn recant their belief in false gods.

In the second verse the jinn recant their belief in false gods and venerate Muhammad for his monotheism. The jinn apologize for their past blasphemy and criticize mankind for either neglecting them or encouraging their disbelief.

So I asked one of the Jinn about it. The reply was this:

"There was war, we lost."

So let's deconstruct. (bracketed words mine)

. . . the jinn recant their belief in false gods and venerate Muhammad for his monotheism. The jinn apologize for their past blasphemy . . . - the 'post war treaty'.

. . . and (the Jinn) criticize mankind for either neglecting them or encouraging their disbelief. - the cause of the war.

I would suggest this; not war in "heaven" - war on earth.

. . . neglecting them or encouraging their disbelief.

Think about this in the light of the Celtic 'mythology' and the folk lore. What are fairies, brownies and the other fae known for? Trickery and other bad behaviour towards humans.

So, Sapien82, enjoy Samhain.

I'm in the southern hemisphere and October marks the beginning of harvest, and the ending of the dark times of winter. That makes a difference. I may enquire of the fae.

Incense part five

Some considerations on smoking the house 'to shoo the gremlins'.

* Mirrors can be windows and doorways into the home for the unseen neighbors (1).

For a time I was concerned with the intrusions into my home. I got rid of most of the mirrors as a part of that. I forgot one mirror though; the mirror in the bathroom cabinet. For a time my house was quieter. Then the intrusions began again with (deceased) folks demanding to be heard. They would catch me in the shower, stark naked, dripping with water and with soap in my eyes. Their idea of a captive audience I supposed.

I wondered how they were getting in; the water pipes? From a conversation here on ATS, I realised it was the mirror in the bathroom cabinet. They used that as a window and a door. Therefore the unfortunate timing of the visits. They just watched from behind the mirror in the bathroom.

So, with the smoke the question is; do we want to maintain the access for our neighbors? I actually have a mirror on the back of my front door for the neighbors to use.

If you don't want the neighbors using the mirrors keep the thought in mind that the boundary we are building covers the mirrors too.

If you do want the neighbors to have access then remove or cover the mirrors before smoking the home. That will take practice.

* Original artworks should not be forgotten.

My family are artists and I have inherited quite a number of original paintings. Some are of gnosis and other spiritual concepts. The value is perhaps almost six figures in dollar terms.

Most are in a storage room and will probably never hang on my walls.

Why?

Because original artwork is a window into the mind of the artist, and conversley, it is posible for the original artworks to be a window into our home for the mind of the artist. Especially if they are deceased and of mystic inclination.

So I don't hang the artworks of my deceased relatives on my walls without carefully considering the question of do I really want the posible intrusion.

There is also another consideration:

Painter Vincent van Gogh. "I put my heart and my soul into my work, and lost my mind in the process," he once said.

Source: google.

Think about it . . .

Other than storage, I haven't worked out a way of sealing over the original artwork to stop the intrusions.

The moral of the story is be selective in the original artwork in the home is my suggestion. So too with photographs, scenery is one thing, portraits are another. Especially the photograps created with film and the silver metals.

Most folks are not really that sensitive to these things and don't really care. Untill things start going bump in the night that is . . .

---------------------------------------

(1) The term neighbors is a polite term for when referring to the unseen Beings. I first heard the term on a Japanese TV series and thought it wonderful in it's simplicity. So I adopted it.

The term "entity" is actually insulting and I suggest not using it.
