Shame it resulted in a sweeping conviction. They will need to be smarter and cover their 6 at all times, to ensure a crowd taken video doesn't ever set the narrative again. But, ultimately, the jury made their choice and they will have to live with it as does the officer unfortunately

I'm sure the defense will have a field day with Watter's threats, the mobs, etc

When Leo Terrel, someone whos opinion I respect very much, said it didn't look good for Chauvin I knew he was getting convicted

Not saying Chauvin didn't deserve any conviction but murder itself implies malice beyond the type of accident that can occur anytime we use physical force against someone. Not my place to decide unfortunately

The jury has reached a verdict in the trial of Derek Chauvin, the former Minneapolis police officer charged in the death of George Floyd. Chauvin is facing three charges: second-degree unintentional murder, third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter

The Verdict will be read at apx 5pm..
So will this be a long summer of riots, is second degree and third degree enough to satiate people?
Will there be an appeal? So many questions...
Will Chauvin get off Scott free?

No it won't. Things will continue in this country just as they ever have. Why, as this verdict was being announced Columbus police couldn't even contain themselves for ONE DAY they just had to kill someone because they don't learn and they don't care.
