So Adams lived close by the Doctor's house with his parents. It was also a forced entry, and Adams Dad knew the doctor as a good person and actually was one of the Doctors patents years before, so no real motive....

I agree. Guy breaks into a house and murders everyone, but there’s definitely no motive.

Yeah, blame it on the porn and video games. Sports related injuries cause people to engage in violent homicides every day, isn't it obvious?

Living up to your screen name again...

The article mentioned a concussion, it in no way endorses this man's incredibly heinous acts in any way shape, or form. In fact, such a snarky comment on such a horrible occasion could show an extreme anti-social narcissistic behavior likely based on the loose morals of one's mother.

Again, click on the links I posted, there are no pics of him. There’s a link to another story that shows one but not the main story they posted. CNN added his photo after the fact the story was already printed, there wasn’t a pic originally, I looked. Like I said in earlier post I’m sure that they will be forced to at some point as they are now but they were definitely hiding his race when this was initially breaking, although FOX had a pic posted, others did not.

My guess is he was being prescribed opioids, the doctor refused to refill and he went off.

Just a guess, though.

Easier to go doctor shopping. Most likely CTE as someone else already mentioned.

Is it common for sufferers of CTE to murder entire families? Kids and all?

Not being snarky, just haven't heard of it before.

Yes but that was his family.

This is different. That shrink must have seriously pissed him off.

Violence is common in certain people. There are some distinct markers for it.
Not trying to sound racist here, but some people have a much higher rate of these markers.
article
You can draw the conclusions you want, but crime stats agree with the paper.
This is not a entirely common trait though, but more prevalent in certain races, from what I understand, so it cannot be applied to the entire race.

Our OP was playing to the MSM coverup crowd with suggestions that this was another example of censorship on the part of media.

Surely you didn't miss this part of the OP

There seems to be a media black-out on this story and I can't imagine why. Some MSN's are not even reporting this horrific murder, while other do report, but leave out the suspect.
I find that suspicious in it's self.

The original post was quickly followed by another prognostication gone completely wrong read

Unfortunately, this story will not get much attention in the MSM

And surely you did not notice my opening words in that post ''a quick google search AT THIS POINT'', by which I meant any time following the immediate moment our OP found the information and posted it based on what limited information had been available at the time of the original posting.

You suggest, or rather insinuate by your little analogy of the rising sun that I called our OP a liar which was simply not the case but only your choice of how to bend my words to your own way of thinking.

I didn't click into any of the myriad news reports I found at that time. Almost all however had the guys name displayed prominently in the headlines.

The guy killed a lot of good people, adults and children. How can you believe that any news outlet was attempting to cover up the color of the killer. For me, that is an unimaginable conclusion to come to, that some how they thought that there was any possibility of censoring from the public his race.

I don't know what the ratio of color makes up the NFL but my guess is that at least 50/50 it would not take much to leak to the press and the public.

Why? What is rest of the story?

Found the story. Sounds like Dr. may have treated him. He was a former player, so I bet CTE was probably involved.
Yes this murderer wasn’t responsible for ending the lives of this family and their employee.

For all the talk of CTE, there is no confirmed diagnosis of CTE.
Also no confirmation that he ever used steroids.

Here is a study found at the NIH regarding CTE, homicides and professional football players.

Given the concerns regarding chronic traumatic encephalopathy and its potential association with violent behavior in football players, we investigated the rates of deaths and arrests related to homicide among the National Football League (NFL) population. In order to accomplish this, we performed a retrospective analysis of the 27 155 individuals who had played, or are currently playing, professional football since its inception in 1920. The number of observed homicides in this cohort was compared to the number of expected homicides using the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention annual tables. Information regarding player cause of death was obtained from web-based sources.

So the pool of players is every player in the NFL since 1920.

A recent case study describing pathologic findings consistent with CTE in 110 out of 111 donated brains of former NFL players reported associated behavioral, mood, and cognitive symptoms to be common among their study population

So out of 111 donated NFL player brains studied, 110 had CTE. That's a pretty high percentage.

we also recorded the number of NFL players who were the focus of homicide investigations. Though this process, we identified 12 players who were suspected of committing homicide.

12.... out of 27,000+

Behavioral issues, such as violent outburst or explosiveness, are reported to occur frequently in CTE study sample populations comprised of NFL players (6 –10). The presence of CTE has been theorized to explain the criminal behavior of some NFL players (1 -5); however, elevated levels of violence have not been identified in numerous other studies involving the general NFL player population (12, 17, 18), including ours. If the prevalence of CTE among NFL players is as high as some have suggest it to be (1 –5, 6 –10), one might expect there to be an increased rate of violence indicators among the NFL playing population. However, this postulated correlation between football and acts of violence has not been supported by an abundance of scientific evidence

Not supported by scientific evidence.

It is interesting to note that two of the 12 individuals involved in homicide investigations are known to have confirmed CTE changes in their brains (20, 21). While some might consider this to be a high percentage (17%), the number of cases is too small to reach any conclusion regarding the potential role CTE may have played in the athlete committing these crimes.

Here is their conclusion:

In summary, NFL players have a lower rate of death due to homicide and a lower arrest rate for the crime of homicide than the general male population. The belief that NFL players are more prone to violence than the general population has not been confirmed by several scientific studies. The rates of violent and explosive behaviors reported in CTE cases should not be extrapolated to the general football playing population and identifying CTE as a causative factor of criminal behavior is premature.
