Chronic traumatic encephalopathy
Degenerative brain disease caused by repeated blows to the head.
Past/present Brain trauma can cause a person to "snap". NFL player Phillip Adams' behavior provides a glimpse into the tremendous danger Americans put ourselves in, this past November.

Why? What is rest of the story?
Found the story. Sounds like Dr. may have treated him. He was a former player, so I bet CTE was probably involved.

That was my first thought as well. He may have thought the doctor was not providing enough treatment or the right treatment, or pretty much anything. Especially if the doctor told him he may not be thinking rationally. Sometimes patient's don't take that well.
It's tragic no matter how we look at it. So many lives lost or ruined.

Of course that clearly hasn't stopped the racists on this site trying to make this a black vs. white issue.

Maybe it was CTE, maybe he was just an azz- hol. Maybe he was plumb crazy.
My mom had a concussion, but she never went over to the neighbors house and killed everyone there.
Some MSN's are not even reporting this horrific murder, while other do report, but leave out the suspect.
I find that suspicious in it's self.

A single concussion isn't the issue. It is multiple ones over long periods of time. Many going undiagnosed. Think about how many times a pro footballer gets his bell ringed over the course of a single game bumping heads. Then you factor in things like steroids, toxic masculinity, other drugs, financial problems, narcissism... you have recipe for someone flipping out.

While the article says he did have a concussion there are very likely other contributing factors, some football-related others perhaps not.
Adams was the first 49ers’ 2010 draft choice to sign his rookie deal. But he wouldn’t stay in San Francisco for long.
Adams bounced around from team to team between 2010 and 2015. He last played in the NFL with the Atlanta Falcons in 2015. He also played for the New England Patriots, Seattle Seahawks, Oakland Raiders and New York Jets.
He did suffer some injuries during his NFL, including a concussion during his first-ever start in 2012 and a gruesome broken ankle during his rookie season.
What do the BLM reactions look like? I don't do Twitter or TikTok so if there's any response I won't see it.
ABC, CNBC, CNN, Fox, USA Today, numerous local news outlets. I quit looking after that. I fail to find any substance to the supposition that this news item is being downplayed or even more, censored.

So, you fail to see that every network you listed, except Fox, doesn’t show a pic of the shooter?

I just checked all of those outlets and they each have a picture of this guy.
Five people are murdered and you winners are all dog whistling at each other.
