He's suggesting that the video is a deep fake. It's not. We all know that Fauci is real. Bad people exist.

The first thing that would be brought up is why he hadn't spoken up when the video first came out, if it wasn't him in the vid.

Yes thats a valid point for an highly official figure like Fauci. Or he could make an excuse like "yes i made an interview that day, but i never saw the broadcast version and thats not me, its manipulated.."

I starred your posts because you actually came up with a reason that wasn't just "Biden/Harris would do something like that".

I actually went back and listened to what he said in the vid in the OP. I didn't notice anything that would merit a move like that.

We have a situation where a deepfake isn't needed, where what we are seeing can be explained by loose sking, bad lighting and video compression, so tho only reason to entertain the idea any further is to feed our tinfoil hat needs.

This is a CT site, so that isn't necessarily a bad thing around here, but there is a point where it just doesn't make sense to force things just for the sake of CT.

Im not disagreeing with you (or daskakik). Just thought one reason why would anyone deepfake themself. Im not saying this case with Fauci actually is that.
