Atheism is a rigid philosophy and far from theological realism. In fact it’s the polar opposite in ontological terms.

Yes, he no doubt the biggest hypocrite anyone has ever known of. And there are multiple daily examples by elected government officials we see. We are worse off today than 6 months ago without any argument.

What? You seem confused.

Atheism means one thing and one thing only: “Lack of belief in a god”.

If you want to attach a philosophy to it — that would be per individual. Of which there are many.

Isn’t it interesting. You find what you’re looking for.

If you Google what you want to “hear” — you’ll find it.

If you Google facts — you can find those too

I can understand the alarm if true. So I wanted to see what the source was. I scanned down the article, no source. I scanned down the webpage no source.

Yeah, it's conspiracy entertainment, no sources required for this niche market. It just needs to sound juicy and outrageous, like gossip. It needs to 'tickle the ears' of the potential audience as per 2 Timothy 4:3,4.

Those who don't fall for this stuff at face-value (requiring some proper evidence first, not one juicy bit of dirt after another), are sometimes described as "sheeple" to use the following tricks:

...
Name-Calling

Some people insult those who disagree with them by questioning character or motives instead of focusing on the facts. Name-calling slaps a negative, easy-to-remember label onto a person, a group, or an idea. The name-caller hopes that the label will stick. If people reject the person or the idea on the basis of the negative label instead of weighing the evidence for themselves, the name-caller’s strategy has worked.
...
Playing on the Emotions

Even though feelings might be irrelevant when it comes to factual claims or the logic of an argument, they play a crucial role in persuasion. Emotional appeals are fabricated by practiced publicists, who play on feelings as skillfully as a virtuoso plays the piano.

...

Some propagandists play on pride. Often we can spot appeals to pride by looking for such key phrases as: “Any intelligent person knows that . . .” or, “A person with your education can’t help but see that . . .” A reverse appeal to pride plays on our fear of seeming stupid. Professionals in persuasion are well aware of that.

Source: The Manipulation of Information (Awake!—2000)

...
The propagandist makes sure that his message appears to be the right and moral one and that it gives you a sense of importance and belonging if you follow it. You are one of the smart ones, you are not alone, you are comfortable and secure—so they say.

Source: Do Not Be a Victim of Propaganda! (Awake!—2000)

You can swap out "smart" with "awake" there in the bolded part, to be a bit more specific regarding this conspiracy entertainment market. But any positive description would work as part of playing on people's pride and nurturing some form of superiority complex (superiority over those who don't believe or follow the message or philosophy/idea beng promoted, in this case, the idea that "NICEF, the World Health Organization, and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation have been accused of secretly sterilizing millions of women in Africa by doctors in Kenya after abortion drugs were discovered in Tetanus vaccines." And if you don't believe it, you're not "awake" nor "smart", is the idea here, and if you do believe it, you're awake and smart. Pfff, as if that's the conspiracy the people of this world should be concerned with.).

These conspiracy entertainers (for lack of a better term, not intended as a negative label, but for reasons of accuracy building on what I started this comment with), putting all this out there trying to make some money on it (by getting attention, attention translates to revenue in the entertainment industry), tend not to pay much heed to the warnings in James chapter 3, no one has really made them care too much about the warnings there.

I have to point out though, that even though I called it "conspiracy entertainment", there's often a political angle to it as well (take for example the QAnon project, which never had anything negative to say about Trump or any warnings about nationalism, but plenty to say about the 'evil globalists'; as if nationalism is the answer to the 'evil globalist agenda', when Trump once admitted that he was both a nationalist and a globalist.).

I have, although in a slightly different form (see Proverbs 14:15 in my signature). The first part in an alternate rendering reads:

“A fool will believe anything.”—PROVERBS 14:15, TODAY’S ENGLISH VERSION.

THERE is a difference—a big difference—between education and propaganda. Education shows you how to think. Propaganda tells you what to think. Good educators present all sides of an issue and encourage discussion. Propagandists relentlessly force you to hear their view and discourage discussion. Often their real motives are not apparent. They sift the facts, exploiting the useful ones and concealing the others. They also distort and twist facts, specializing in lies and half-truths. Your emotions, not your logical thinking abilities, are their target.
...

Source: see link in signature.

Going back a page in the article:

“By clever and persevering use of propaganda even heaven can be represented as hell to the people, and conversely the most wretched life as paradise.”—ADOLF HITLER, MEIN KAMPF.

AS MEANS of communicating have expanded—from printing to the telephone, radio, television, and the Internet—the flow of persuasive messages has dramatically accelerated. This communications revolution has led to information overload, as people are inundated by countless messages from every quarter. Many respond to this pressure by absorbing messages more quickly and accepting them without questioning or analyzing them.

The cunning propagandist loves such shortcuts—especially those that short-circuit rational thought. Propaganda encourages this by agitating the emotions, by exploiting insecurities, by capitalizing on the ambiguity of language, and by bending rules of logic. As history bears out, such tactics can prove all too effective.

Taking the position that there are no deities is far from realist. We simply don’t know how and why the universe was created, nor if it has intelligent design.

If you think you can find facts by typing into a google search bar then that says it all. According to Nietzsche there are no facts, only interpretations. This philosophy allows for acceptance of other people’s views and perspectives, you should try it sometime.

I saw the headline and read "Bill Gates dead--"

I be like 'Thank the baby jesus!"

Why would you rejoice over the death or demise of anyone?

I don't think these people have bad motives.

People like Bill Gates, now I could be naive or wrong, but I think that people do what they think is right, and Bill Gates amassed a fortune by whatever means. He sees the injustices and suffering in the world and thinks he is in a position to help because of his great fortune, along with others in positions like his.

They make charities, fund noble programs, and are philanthropic. Giving makes a person feel good. And when one has a lot they probably maybe even feel an obligation to help when they see there is so much help needed.

There are always going to be conspiracy theorists thinking that these rich people want the end of life on earth and to subjugate everyone into slavery. But why? Isn't it more reasonable to think they are trying to do what they think is right in helping society? Maybe they are wrong maybe they are right but they are doing what they can.

And everyone has their baggage and their proclivities to badness no matter how poor or rich. If you're rich you may have a means to indulge in your sordid side more than a poor person or a person too busy making ends meet. You can blame everyone on earth for something or the other, me included, and you gentle reader as well.

The thing is things are too complex, governments too corrupt, and there are indeed truly evil people in positions of power

Nope. He is evil and his death will be celebrated world wide. By your actions you will be known. Not you personally but as a general rule of thumb.

Jesus Christ told his disciples: “Continue to love your enemies and to do good.” (Luke 6:35)

His disciples were to act lovingly toward all who showed hostility to them. Why show love for our enemies? “That you may prove yourselves sons of your Father who is in the heavens,” said Jesus. (Matt. 5:45) If we heed that counsel, we become “sons” of God in that we imitate God, who “makes his sun rise upon wicked people and good and makes it rain upon righteous people and unrighteous.” As Luke’s account puts matters, God “is kind toward the unthankful and wicked.”—Luke 6:35.

Stressing how important it was for his disciples to ‘continue loving their enemies,’ Jesus said: “If you love those loving you, what reward do you have? Are not also the tax collectors doing the same thing? And if you greet your brothers only, what extraordinary thing are you doing? Are not also the people of the nations doing the same thing?” (Matt. 5:46, 47) If we were to limit our love to those who reciprocate, this would not merit any “reward,” or favor, from God. Even tax collectors, who were generally despised, showed love for people who loved them.—Luke 5:30; 7:34.

Inherited sin made it impossible for Christ’s disciples to be flawless, perfect. (Rom. 5:12) Yet, Jesus concluded this part of his discourse by saying: “You must accordingly be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect.” (Matt. 5:48) He was thereby encouraging his listeners to imitate their “heavenly Father,” Jehovah, by perfecting their love—making it complete by loving their enemies.

We keep on doing good when we mercifully forgive someone who has wronged us. The apostle Paul wrote: “Become kind to one another, tenderly compassionate, freely forgiving one another just as God also by Christ freely forgave you.” (Eph. 4:32)

People can receive God’s forgiveness only if they have already forgiven those who have wronged them. (Mark 11:25) Stressing this point, Jesus added: “For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you; whereas if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.” (Matt. 6:14, 15) Yes, God grants forgiveness only to those who freely forgive others. And one way to keep on doing good is to comply with Paul’s counsel: “Even as Jehovah freely forgave you, so do you also.”—Col. 3:13.

Another way to do good was set out in the Sermon on the Mount when Jesus told his listeners to stop judging others and then used a powerful illustration to emphasize this point. (See Matthew 7:1-5.) The concept is often misunderstood or misinterpreted, but since this comment is already quite long, I'll leave it at that (more suited for the Relgion&Theology forum anyway).

Isn't what is actually happening.... a fact?

Problem is there is imagination of other than what there is.

Yeah..... there is absolutely no knowing how or why there appears to be 'what is'.

But is there really any need to make things (including deities) up.

The past is made up (imagined) now......the future is made up now.....and a separate you that lives in that made up time is also made up (imagined).

What there really is..... is just what is happening......this is realist!!

Atheism does not take the position “there is no god”. It takes the position of “lack of belief”. Can you prove god exists?

Again, you keep trying to make it philosophical — it’s not.

You need to take this to it’s own thread.

—————————————

Subject of this thread: “This video goes into why Bill Gates is pushing vaccines. This is his world wide business. Getting returns of 20 times initial investment. Are these vaccines doing more harm than good? Why did they remove Gates from India? Think of the money Bill Gates will get for forced vaccination of the entire world. Not to mention the population control Gates and the globalists are all for. “
