WSJ-WASHINGTON: The Biden administration is suing the state of Georgia over its new voting law, Attorney General Merrick Garland said Friday, the first such challenge to Republican-backed efforts in multiple states to tighten voting laws in ways critics say will discriminate against Black and minority voters.
The lawsuit alleges that Georgia violated federal voting-rights law when it earlier this year enacted changes to the state’s election requirements, including altering how people vote absentee and where people can drop off their ballots.
Republican Gov. Brian Kemp signed the new law in March after it was passed by the GOP-dominated legislature. Republicans said the changes were needed to restore confidence among voters in the integrity of Georgia elections following the recent tumultuous political season.

It will be interesting if other states, including those who just did some investigation and claim they found nothing wrong, goes to the in depth level this does and finds something wrong.
Election integrity is the most important aspect of this and it will bring the best ROI of anything done yet. (IMHO)

This a delay and deflect tactic. The Feds have no authority in these matters, and they know it. But they can tie it up for years in the courts with appeal after appeal all the way to the Supreme Court.
I'm watching and waiting for what they try legally in/against AZ to prohibit release of the final report.
The Feds are crossing clear Constitutional boundaries, and grossly violating States' rights in the process.
We knew no one would go down without a fight. We're just gonna have to fight the good fight till the end.
Hopefully the results are released and the report is not far behind. Sunshine is good.

This #-stirring crap just pisses me off:
Gen. Michael Flynn: “Something Is Going to Happen. They Must Create Noise Before the Arizona Audit. They’re Going to Have to Do Something”
OAN Goes Full Fascist, Calls for Mass Executions Over ‘Election Fraud’
If/when the time comes, they can make their case as they see fit. But right now it's just rabble rousing and further muddies the waters.

if you read the article in full, you see there is hyperbole aplenty and at no time did OAN call for anyone to be executed, it was just piss poor reporting by a leftover with a sandy vajeyjey
The OAN windbag continued: “When all the dust settles from the audit in Arizona and the potential audits in Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Nevada, and Wisconsin, what happens to all these people who are responsible for overthrowing the election? What are the consequences for traitors who meddled with our sacred democratic process and tried to steal power by taking away the voices of the American people? What happens to them?”
In a hauntingly calm manner, Sharp answered his own question. “Well, in the past, America had a very good solution for dealing with such traitors: Execution,” he bluntly declared.
“Treason is considered the highest of all crimes and is the only crime defined in the U.S. Constitution which states that anyone is guilty of treason if they support America’s enemies,” Sharp added.

I have no idea who the hardware belongs to...
...but they may not be legally able to turn over the routers and passwords without a government court order...
...or authorization from CISA, doing so could be a violation of CISA/NIST guidelines depending on who owns and deploys the technology.
