One Mask May Not Be Enough. How About Wearing Two...

I haven't worn a mask in over three or four weeks now. I don't wear one while grocery shopping, while stopping in the gas station or even when I visit my kid's school.

I haven't felt this free in a long time.

I'm starting to see more people without them as well.

It is your duty to resist.

So am I, not a LOT of people, but enough of an uptick to notice. Mostly older folks, too. It must REALLY irk these white knighters seeing all these moms and dads, and grandmas and grandpas, not masking lately. If that's not the ultimate "Shut up, kid" (Trekkies will get that reference) then I don't know what is, lol.

These N95 masks are hard to come by.
When you don't buy them 30 cents a piece in China (in bulk if you please even cheaper)?

It's always going around every year. I know no one wants to hear it but, I did find a few articles from the 2017/18 flu season that support my theory. I dunno.. as always, it's up to you to decide. But, I'm certainly not going to double up on masks for something that happens every year.

why not just shrink-wrap your entire head? (not you personally OP, simply a frustration-borne idea for those that believe masks are in any way either useful or necessary to combat the phantom plague).

Have to admit to wearing 2 masks when on public transport last year when this all started... havn't been on public transport now for around 7 months but if this virus is still around when i next use transport I'll be wearing 2 masks again for the journey!

Do you often get other people's saliva droplets inside your mouth/nose?? Are there other people on the transport not masked? You're more at risk of getting it on your hands/fingers and then constantly having to fix your masks.

Yes, it's very reassuring. I'm not in a high-risk group. But a 1% chance of death is well worth a mask. Or just wearing one to lessen those not as fortunate as me in health.
