But regardless of how much government cheese is handed out, wouldn't you agree that giving priority to someone based on their melanin content or inability to piss while standing is counter to what we as a nation are supposed to be?

Of course I agree just like I think if the cheese is being handed out disproportionality to one group or another it shouldn't.

which is the point of this thread. Your initial post doesn't reflect that opinion at all, in fact, it's the polar opposite.
Some just stir the pot. Don’t take the class clown to seriously.

I don't think people realize how far and low the Democrats are taking this.

This Is a preview of the next 4 years.

Democrats literally have some radical and crazy plans

With Kristen Clarke in charge of the Civil Rights division at DoJ, I'm sure we'll find out that everything is racist soon enough.

If you sneeze in the general direction of a BIPOC, it will be a hate crime.

Because sexism and racism had gone away?

This is the kind of lame meme only a white man could devise and only a white man could post.

Yeah, and now read the actual text. It clearly says the priority is getting the groups mentioned EQUAL access to the resources they need.

That means the same as other groups of people, not instead of.

Your eagerness to distort a very clear sentence says an awful lot about you.

Some people see equality as a threat. They have been groomed to believe that another group's gain means they suffer a loss.

It works best with people who haven't done too well in life but are too full of entitlement to question themselves. Instead, it's easier to be led to blame people less advantaged than they are.

Yes, you have.

This is what it's all about. When you look at white folks and think many African Americans are only poor because whites are better off, you're thinking that way -- that it's all a zero sum game and that whites only have more because they somehow stole it from blacks.

That's a lie.

If you what it, you make it for yourself. You want tomatoes at the end of the summer? You get your seeds and grow them. You don't point at your neighbor who did it and blame him for stealing your tomatoes.

It's the results of a lifetime of hard work and the right mindset starting with proper upbringing, going into education and the right attitude toward it, and then going into your adulthood with the will and determination and discipline to work and earn for yourself. That isn't a white or black thing; it's a culture thing.

Very true.

It's seen often, people being given assistance to get what others take for granted are seen by some as them getting something extra.

Equality is having equal access for all, not "more equal" access to some.

If there is a set of criteria for a thing, the all meet that criteria for access. You don't then say, well, we'll add skin color to the list.

It used to be that way, and we determined that was wrong. If it was wrong to once, then it's still wrong to do today, even when the skin colors involved are ones you think are the ones of victims.

You keep saying that because you perceive that non straight white males (you used that criteria earlier in the thread) by virtue of this will be given some kind of 'more equal' status, but you have yet to show where - apart from in your opinion - that is actually the case.

Just because you keep saying something that you cannot back up with proof, it doesn't make it true - I know that's not a popular concept with some people at the moment.

Let's try a different attack....if this was such a problem....why weren't people held accountable as soon as it was discovered the CARE funds were being dispersed racially? As its been pointed out repeatedly---there are two laws dealing with this. And of all the laws that seem to offer the rich more firm standing than everyone else these two are the ones that can defeat endless gobs of money.

And the comments about Trump and his ilk getting the money---again I see one side only telling half a story. In this case its just the left---plenty of them got taking money. You know what that means---all lawmakers made this available to their palzy walzies---or there is somehow a mechanism to give them priority treatment.

So Biden's speech is clickbait---but its clickbait to his base--who are so ginned up on hatred they can't even ask how this happened and who got charged for it the first time

My posts are about the fact that the OP is claiming that straight white males are being discriminated upon (the OPs use of words not mine) by ensuring everyone gets equal access.

Perhaps it's not me you should be responding to.

No its definitely you....

The OP is wondering why such a thing would be necessary considering the two laws about it already. Sure they have made a few different statements about their feelings on the issue but the gist of her comments is why is this necessary since we already have discrimination laws.

So somewhere there must be evidence that the CARES act benefited white people more that can't be explained away by representation of population right? I saw you specifically point out it helped Trump and his buddies---which I guess in current left circles qualifies as proof???? Except those claims are only half true because politicians managed to steer their families and friends right to the money.

I guess if you want to take a career liar, one who tends to plagiarize his better ideas thats fine....but where is the proof? Who gave the order to give to that sweet white shade of skin first? Remember proof....its not just something we require when it comes to elections.

Not that I expect a thought out answer---I have yet to have a democrat answer why Democrats claim they care about minorities when all t heir big cities are where the difference is the most stark. Furthermore why I am at it---why is it democrats expect white people to act better in a mob situation than other races? Something seems at play there..........something presumptive at best

In short, if your business is failing or struggling, don't be white, don't be male, if you want aid. The government may have destroyed you, but it's only going to fix that if you're the *right* category because, you know, justice or something.

That isn’t what it means and you know it.

I know. I find it difficult to believe that people are not wanting all Americans to be prioritized over other countries. Forget the race baiting rhetoric, how about we just focus on putting the tax money every American paid into the hands of every American? This is what was in the last stimulus package:

Ukraine will get $453 million in “assistance” from the U.S., Georgia will receive over $132 million, and Venezuela is slated to get “not less than” $33 million “for democracy programs.”

Hundreds of millions more will be funded to multiple other countries, including Columbia, Belize Nicaragua, El Salvador, Honduras, Costa Rica, Panama, and Guatemala, among others.

Sri Lanka will receive up to $15 million “for the refurbishing of a high endurance cutter” ship, according to the bill. ...

If you want to see what other countries paid their people in stimulus money..here are a few pay outs they received:

Stimulus packages around the world: UK: 80% of workers' salaries Denmark: 75% of workers' salaries S Korea: 70% of workers' salaries Netherlands: 90% of workers' salaries Canada: $2k per month Australia: $1k per month US: One time $1200 check that may take months to arrive ...

But yeah, lets keep spinning the same record we always do. Seems as though we like the tune.

Thanks,
