This was all expected and I´ve personally said since the beginning that this will end in the Surpreme Courts; first state courts would reject, then perhaps even the federal courts - if so then president Trump would have to go to the Supreme Court. You´ve probably heard a lot of Trump lawyers say that they believe it will end up in the Supreme Courts, this is the reason. The court case should go through state and federal courts before ending in the Supreme Court.

The Republican judge in Pennsylvania rejected the case right after opening oral arguments, by design. That's why the Trump team had the appeal all ready to go.

Per the SCOTUS re-positioning this past Friday, they will be watching this one CLOSELY, and ready to quickly accept the case if the Court of Appeals slaps it down too.
