You claim that this 'corporate news, is owned by big tech and social media. If we are to believe this is true, it behooves us to inspect the nature of the ''left/right'' continuum. This spectrum is generally understood to hold between two polar opposites, Capitalism on one end and Communism/Socialism on the other. Capitalism is based on private ownership and socialism is based on community ownership of the means of production.

Those who favor Capitalism point to Socialism with the claim that Socialist will steal all their stuff and give it to other people. Socialists claim that Capitalists will eventually own everything in the hands of a few ultra-rich.

Given this spectrum, who is it that owns all these big corporations, leftist Socialists or rightest Capitalists? Are these international corporations owned by those who work to produce or are they owned by a small handful of capitalist owners?

There is only one answer here, they are owned by Capitalists, hence they are rightists.

Therefore, the ''left'' that you believe owns all the media is not leftist at all, rather they are rightists They are one powerful faction of the right who are seeking to control not only socialists but the rest of the capitalist rightists as well.

But that does nothing at all to change the facts that exist about the media, it's influence, and it's political bent.

And I think that you are ''closer than close''. Yes, those with the money and power do not concern themselves with leftists or rightist ideology. Why? Because they have made their money ,hence power, not in a socialist economic system but only in a capitalist economic system. Hence to call them socialist or leftists is incorrect.

All corporate influence as we know it today is based in capitalism.
