I can't get a Ouija board to work

The spirit needs a "vessel" with hands to move the planchette and eyes to see the letters.

Are you working it alone? Always work with a partner.

If you and the partner are new at it, and you both trust one another, then it will just take time. The first time I worked it (with a friend,) it took the better part of a half hour to get it to work. It's a matter of learning how it feels when it begins to move. Once you get used to the motion and the movement, it will get faster and easier.

As for someone "pushing it." Most intelligent people can tell when someone is pushing it.

A note on the "blindfolded" comment. The board is a tool that works through the participants. It does no good to blind the "conduit" by which the energy is flowing. The whole idea that the board won't give coherent answers if you can't see has always made me chuckle.

Final piece of advice, ignore the insults. Apparently, more than one village is missing an idiot.

I made one too, it was anything great. But it never works! When yours worked were you by yourself??? Thats how I have to do it because everyone thinks I'm a freak for wanting to talk to spirits....
