I can't get a Ouija board to work

Ummmm, I dont think its a good idea to mess with the Devil board. Just be glad that the man with two horns hasnt knocked on your door yet.

is there an easy path that works to put your own doodle here on the screen...i live in envy of everyone with the cool images...

I just have to restate get rid of the board. If you are in the habit of dealing with all the negitive forces this will stir up go for it. It is your life to screwup. Sad thing is it may just screw someone you love or hold dear that has absolutly nothing to do with the doors you will open up with the board. Good luck.

good point about the negative forces...but for some its a way of contacting lost ones and it provides a lttle comfort for those who greive...belive it or not..

Good shout Andy..and you too Lady v....is a common misconception that the board or glass (as I know it) is purely evil...NOT SO!! we've all heard stories about how the light went bang, the glass flew off the table, a Ghost hunted ya favourite aunty to death.. blah blah blah....I've been using the glass for well over twenty years on and off and most are right when they say it's not a toy!!! I have myself had correspondence with my Grandfather who passed away some years ago now as well as many weird and wonderful spirits NONE of which were evil.. some of the things spelt out to me have proved beyond doubt that it's for real.....if like Lady v says you protect yourself first you should have no probs (for me personally I use the words 'NO EVIL SPIRITS' when calling on the spirit world) you can tell straight away if there's evil in your house/garage/workplace..wherever...it's blatantly in your face with bolox and lies to start with.

I'd go with the majority hear and say don't bother..it's dangerous if you PLAY with the spirit world..my Grandmother who still lives to this day taught my Mother who taught me...the knowledge has been passed down through the generations in my family....were all a bit weird like that ... but to be honest it can be very dangerous if used in the wrong way, I'd get a lil more info before trying again, but if your determined to do this then I'd do it with others..not on you own and don't do it with children in the house/area...they tend to send things spiralling outa control...(for some reason the spirit world are attracted to the life force of a child, again there are many diffo stories related to this)

Anyways..do it if you must but be bleeding careful when calling on something you no nothing of....one word to use with all this... have RESPECT!!

Wow.... Of you want it to work you should try it with 2 or more people. I have never been able to do it by myself. With two people its doable but the cursor takes forever to move, with three people is best. Some of you ignoramosous (i know its probally not a word but it describes you) might say that those people are just moving it around, WRONG! I have had personal proof that it works. I've held fingers behind my back and had other people ask how many fingers im holding up, right EVERY time. Ive heed something in my room intentionally then gone over to the persons house who had the board and asked where i hidden it, Right EVERY time. About the demon thing, you probally dont want to go there, but, some people like me can't resist the urge. Something WILL happen to you if u talk to demons. Every time i've known somebody who talked or attempted to talk to demons all had stuff happen to them, including me. Just dont do something stoopid and piss something off you wouldn't want to. RE Baalams Donkey.... How inconsiderate of your friend to buy you a hand grenade and then not give you the instructions.......From what i understand you neither hit it or burn it...if you leave it in the microwave for 4 mintes on full power and then 2 minutes under the grill it turns out splendidly...

Thanks! Your advice worked, I put the grenade in the nuker for 4 mins, and waited. But, four minutes is a long time so I went to bathroom, and guess what? The microwave blew the whole kitchen to bits! Even killed my cat! Wow, I never like that cat anyways. I forgot about putting metal in the microwave, people tell you not too, and I just forgot about it. Microwaves are really dangerous! I mean it took out the wall, stove, sink, and all the windows in the house! They need a bigger warning. Someone could get hurt. Next time I am going to put the grenade in the oven, ONLY!

Well, if it means anything, there are some places that give Haunted Tours who state in no uncertain terms that Ouija Boards are outlawed. I know one place, Mansfield Reformatory, lists that on their registration form because it was said that a group of ghost hunters used a Ouija board which brought forth two very dark elementals they've dubbed Elmo and Big Nasty.

That's all just trickery. Demons are very resourceful you know. They can mimic those who were once living.

It's probably best that you can't get it to work. Ouija boards are portals to hell.

Sorry about you´re microwave dude..& the blender, and the computer...i feel i have the blame in some small way...i forgot to tell you that beforwe you put the grenade in the nuker wrap it in used potato skins so the microwave wont know its metal !!!!

Im also of the understanding that Russian anti personal mines that have a fine coating of breads crumbs also turn out equally good, but dont forget to prod it in the centre with a knife to prove that its good & ready before you take it out. A land mine thats gooey in the middle is appetising to nobody..

I aslo hear that Kentucky Fried Chicken are also close to releasing "Deep Fried .50 cal Tracers", with that special coating of herbs and spices that only they know...uuuhhhmmmmm.....yummy..

Personaly i would find the ".50 cal tracer meal deal bucket" with a fries and a coke maybe too much..and opt for the smaller "9mm bucket" deal..outstanding :

You should probably consider yourself fortunate. Once you get spirits to communicate with you, you'll never be able to shut them up.

If its true...i mean....really really true....that once you have spoken to a spirit they never stop talking to you.....then that means

I would love to sit down with someone who says that they "really" do work. I would think that if there really were souls. Lost or whatever is the case that communicating through a ouija board is just plain dumb. Our minds make us believe things that just don't exist. It's my opinion that people move the piece on their own. Too many witchboard movies watched here. Trust me I've tried and I've seen people cry over the game and when they try to answer a question being asked in ones head it's always wrong..always. A farce as far as I'm concerned. Don't blast me it's just my opinion which is all discussion forums are made of.

These Ouija threads really crack me up. I know it's probably been said at least a hundred times in this thread, but….IT'S JUST A GAME!

I think it's been a few years since Mattel got out of the "devil board" business..

Seriously though, do as someone said earlier and try it blindfolded, I guarantee you will come out with gibberish and random letters. The Ouija board is basically a little game to exercise your subconscious mind. There is nothing paranormal or dangerous about it.

Anyone who says otherwise is either pulling your leg, or has been pulling other peoples legs for so long that they have actually come to believe it!

my standard rationale is that the boards don't open gateways to hell, but if you're looking for attention from the "spirit realm" you may get it - good or bad - regardless of the device used.

I can't get mine to work either but I heard that sometimes you won't get an answer if you're alone. mines home made and has only worked once. My first one was but I had to dispose of it because I let it be negative and it went crazy and gave me horrible dreams...but that was my own fault not the Ouija's.

Personally, I think if you haven't gotten it working consider yourself lucky.

I try not to be superstitious or easily spooked by things, but after having my own "youthful" experiences with them I'd say leave well enough alone.

On the other hand maybe it doesn't work because it does require additional "supporters"...meaning maybe you do need someone else there to "make " it work...who knows.

The dang things creep me out...and I'm pretty shock proof to spooky things, ghosts and spirits and unknown thingies.

Not that I'm a believer per say but I think if you insist on trying, you may want to learn some protection techniques as mentioned in a few other replies.
