I can't get a Ouija board to work

I don't like Ouija, it creeps me out. Are wooden boards better than cardboard? Does it matter? Maybe you can't get it to work because you are playing with yourself. Try doing it with somebody else. I got one stuffed behind my couch, I'm too creeped out by it to whip it out and play with it, let alone touch it. It's not even wood! It's just a toy! So I just leave it there and try to forget about it.

best to not get the board to work. last few times i ended up cleaning up the area of poltergeist activity and calling in some reinforcements to help me perform an excorcism.

first and last time i asked the church for help i might add. only needed help because i lacked experience and knowledge on how to perform an excorcism.

after that i beat up the people for doing something this stupid and then broke the board in pieces.

Maybe something is trying to tell you not to mess around with it. The Ouija board is a reliable gateway to the darkside. If I were you, I would take it out and throw it in the trash. I have heard tales from many people about their experiences with it. I once knew this guy and his girlfriend who were just trying to have some fun with it. Is was not long after that both of their lives took a turn for the worse. They both were found dead and the board itself was hot according to the ones who found the two. I'm not telling you to throw it away but if don't, it will only cause trouble for you. People say that the board is a portal to the spirit world.

Clearly you don't have a gullible mind, and as a result these sorts of toys don't work for you!

If I were you I'd be fairly pleased with myself.

No matter what ouija boards don't work for me and I can't figure out why They'll work for others but not me. If anyone here can tell me anything that might work please leave a message.

Good, every thing is fine, you do not want it to work, any more than if you had an atom bomb in the house, and it did not work. It is a good thing.

Here is how they work, you call up a demon from hell, ask it to tell you stuff by moving the curser around, of course in doing this you have to make some small deal with the devil. After this he will slowly take control of your life, and abuse you like a pimp to a whore. It is your life if you want demon from hell messing up your mind just keep at the board, it will happen.

If you really want information, try Google, or the local library. Why do you need to ask demons? They lie anyway. You say it not demons? Oh, yeah well who is moving the cursor around the board? Something is doing it. What is it and how do you know?

Burn the board, get a good job and love your neighbor.

I guess what material the board is made up of is a personal preference. It doesn't make the board any better whether it is made of wood, stone, or cardboard. The Oujia board is a divination channel of your energy or that of you and your friends. Look at a Ouija board as a toll booth. Some people need to use one to get from point A to point B, and no you don't have to sell your soul for the toll, so don't even go there. Are they good people in this world? How about evil? It is the same in the spirit world. If you can't tell the difference between them, then I suggest you not meddle with divination.

Why in heaven's name would anyone want to mess around with something as dangerous as a Ouija Board?!

take it as a sign that you cant get it to work. I played about with them once and got burnt (as i scared to death, not actual burnt)

The Ouija isn't a toy and IMHO shouldn't be messed with at all. I am experienced and know how to protect myself and I don't mess with them....Playing with the Ouija is just asking for trouble.

What makes it dangerous is that you are opening yourself, you are actually "inviting" whatever comes through....there are ways to protect yourself, but the majority of people have no idea what they are doing...they are playing.....I am not Christian and I don't believe in "Satan" .....but there are negative entities and you offer any of them to come through.....they are sly and they will tell you just enough fact and truth to fool you.....you'd do better to study and learn...

yes sireee....i believe there are malignant spirits out there in the planes that we cant see...levels of conciousness that a few here can reach and comunicate with the other side...i belive we all have te ability but we have to develope it..there are some that can contact the other side only using their mind..the others...you and me..we need the ouija board..a door, a portal to their side..but like here on earth we have to take care to whom we open the door..

My only experience with an Ouija board was when I was at boarding school. The rather bizarre response turned out to be the spirit of a cat floating outside the window, and it's name was Marmalade.

Needless to say from that point on, my opinion of there being a spirit world populated by anything approaching a modest level of intellect vanished.

Very much a Victorian parlour game providing modest thrills and spills to the bored and easily diverted.

John Dee had a very convincing link to the spirit world. It didn't matter fo course that Edward Kelley ended up being locked up by the Holy Roman Emperor for being a fraud

yes sir...in elizabethan England contact with the other side was in the hands of the few and the brave, and without doubt the good doctor Dee from his home in Mortlake was one of the very few of his time and social standing that meddled with the like..beloved of the queen and consisant voyager to the magical sites of europe..i.e. Prague, the home of Rabbi low and his Gollem..there are numerous prints of the good doctor with kelly attempting to raise the dead..one will also find the link with alchemy as well..and im sure that the cat wont return...but just in case buy yourself one or two cans of whiskers...

Dee was indeed an exciting and charismatic individual, and clearly well thought of since as soon as he arrived in Prague he was put up by the Emperor Rudolph's very own physician! An interesting character was in Prague at around the same time; "The Greek Mamugna of Famagosta passed himself off as the son of an Italian martyr and paraded the city streets pulled by a pair of black mastiffs", clearly not everyone in the city was as gifted as their illustrious visitor.

On a different note, I think I'll plumb for Felix as the catfood of choice due to the market domination of the Whiskers brand!

Ufo, I am not insulting you, just trying to make a point. It is good you ask questions, no one is born all knowing, I am a good example, I still don't know everything, I did last week, but I forgot. Darn.

I bet the Praker Brothers or Milton Bradely never thought there would be this much discussion when they came out with this "Board Game"

my friend bought me a ouija bord a while ago but i still havnt gotten it from him, but anyways ive heard lots of stories and if anything ive learnd never to do it alone

How inconsiderate of your friend to buy you a hand grenade and then not give you the instructions.......From what i understand you neither hit it or burn it...if you leave it in the microwave for 4 mintes on full power and then 2 minutes under the grill it turns out splendidly...
