The truth of the matter is they started scanning the ballots from their satellite in space. But someone screwed up the watermark and instead of block chain they put a brick chain on them. Now we aren't going to have any internet.

UPDATED: YouTube users in multiple regions around the world encountered issues in playing videos on the site Wednesday for more than an hour.

The platform’s TeamYouTube account acknowledged the problems in a Twitter post. “If you’re having trouble watching videos on YouTube right now, you’re not alone — our team is aware of the issue and working on a fix. We’ll follow up here with any updates,” it tweeted at 7:23 p.m. ET.

Nearly two hours later, TeamYouTube said service had been restored: “And we’re back — we’re so sorry for the interruption. This is fixed across all devices & YouTube services, thanks for being patient with us,” the account tweeted, adding a red heart emoji.

My internet did go down right after 6pm and stayed down for 3 hours.

Not just me I took my car to the auto shop near by, they were down too. So were all my neighbors.

But there's also a storm here right now and the internet gets knocked out by storms around here.

my internet, landline phone and cable tv all channels that had news on them including local went down today from 3:30pm till some time just before 9:00 pm.
tried to call provider on cell, and wasn't given the option to speak with a representative, message said outage reported in area and it hung up. never has done that before.

Been having internet problems all night. When youtube went down I verified several times that my wireless connection was working properly. But just in the last hour my actual internet connection went down. I turned wireless off on my phone and am able to post via phone data solely.

Something funky going on IMO. Thanks for the thread.

Yes this automated response when i call has pissed me off several times. Usually it's power that goes off for 2 days because an oak leaf took out the grid.
I have Verizon cable which is also listed as a Utility Billl. Was promised a secure landline since No One Expected that I'm in 2020 and still does not have a cellphone.

It would be nice to get a human😑

Edit: Verizon has a battery pack in the phone hub box. Only problem is my home phones rely on a power source since there is a base hub for portable phones.

So unless I have a push buttun Garfield phone and an old phone jack, it's useless.

If you didn't have issues, then you wouldn't waste time and energy going through all that hassle. Sorry you had to deal with that.

yea that's the way my landline is, but if the power goes out it uses the power coming from the phone line on the base for phone calls but the cordless one won't work.

but on mediacom if something happens to their fiber optic network, the phone signal also stops. there have been times the network and phone went down and the cable stays on but network and phone go down.

lol i thought i was behind the times, i still use my old trac flip phone. it's one of the old burner types. no name, address is affiliated with it. but i only use it when i forget to take the shopping list with me, or broke down. i have better thing to do than be talking, texting, or suffering the web like some people do. and i leave it turned off until i use it or i'm expecting a call.

EDIT : Landline maybe?

You don't need phone service of ANY kind to call 911. I implore everyone to keep their good old fashioned physical phone lines connected to their homes & phone jacks in their homes, and never toss their old corded phones. Plug 'em in & check that they still work now & then, because even when power's out, an old fashioned PHONE LINE is the only thing that is going to still push a call of any kind through. No charging required.

I'm a millennial (36) and I #ing loathe the cell phone era. It's made people stupid, short-sighted and dependent on tech. I have a cell at my husband's insistence to act as a "home phone", but about all it's useful for is texting now & then. Ive never taken it with me outside of the house, and flat refuse to (that should vex pro-tracers on here) NOBODY needs to get in touch with me bad enough that it cannot wait a few hours until we get home.

Yes have the old ringer that is not connected for the portables . It has a base attached to the now 10ft twirling cord that on a good day can still be untwined to 20 feet.

I've got one of those old pearl white corded wall phones from the 90's that we could stretch the cord from one end of the house to the other with. I have never been able to understand why people have been so willingly gullible about junking the proven old stuff in favor of expensive digital paperweights.

It boggles. It really boggles, there's no good excuse to neuter your options to only the stuff that need electricity to work consistently. A 2 day power outage and most people are looking at a dead phone with no way to call for help. All I have to do is plug in an "archaic" piece of equipment to a jack, and I'm golden from there out.

Lol.. love the old proven goods. Love the new stuff too, but sometimes you got to start a fire and send smoke signals I guess. People come from miles to investigate.

I would love to have kept the old landline phone. Alas, my apartment right now does not offer that function. Modern abodes don't have these anymore so we are stuck with the cellphone necessity.

As to not needing a phone service for calling an emergency number... unfortunately yes, you do need a telephone device to call for help. Not a 'service', but certainly a device. Emergency calls will work even if the phone has no simcard in it, or if it is locked out. That being what it is, most people will use their cellphone for calling in an emergency.

Again the internet is working just fine.

Including the site downdetector.com.

Dude where is my car?

Hang on that was "and then" not "again"

Never said it was down everywhere never said it wouldn't come back either. Again pointed out easily verifiable information

No more no less, any misunderstanding was due to your jumping to conclusions from "across the pond"

Dude, you said...

The internet did not go down. Perhaps it was some mass DOD attack. That's likely what you predicted, the intended result not the actual one!
