Plenty of religious people accept round earth and it doesn't have any effect on their faith.

the Bible also quotes the four corners of the earth plenty of times, heres a quote from Ezekiel which talks about the four corners as well as the dome

"He measured it on the four sides; it had a wall all around, the length five hundred and the width five hundred, to divide between the holy and the profane"

It doesn't state exactly the shape of the earth but we do know it has four corners, its immovable and its encased in a dome.

It's not only the Bible though, every ancient religion believed in a flat-ish earth encased in a dome.

Yeah i have seen it, and so have the seers of the past. Next time you go on a walk look at all the mini worlds you walk by: the spider web, the birds nest, the ant hill, the bee hive, etc. All these animals/insects live within a world inside a bigger world. It's how nature works. Our planet is no different, you could think of it as a "human hive," that is inside a bigger world, the world above us. When the inhabitants of the upper world go on a walk they see our human hive, the same way we see the bee hive.

Get a high zoom camera at Sunset & you will see the Sun never goes below the Horizon. The reality is when you can Zoom is you realise that the "Sun Setting" is nothing more than an optical illusion. In addition I'm not saying the world isn't round. I tend to believe there's a bit of both going on. You're the Apple of Gods eye so start within & you will find the answers to the universe.

Sorry, but that is a weak argument.

I mean, round earth wasn't seriously proposed until less than 500 years ago and education for the masses didn't really start until 300 years ago. Why wasn't earth a paradise before then when everyone "knew" the earth was flat?

What would be different if science kept teaching flat earth? I mean really, you go to school and learn the earth is flat and then what?

The hindus teach that time is going backwards right now. Meaning intelligence is shrinking not growing. The ancient kingdoms were amazing and we have been falling ever since.

I'm asking about 600 years ago when most people still believed the earth was flat and earth was not paradise.

That is what makes your argument weak, because obviously just believing the earth is flat doesn't change anything. So, if believing the earth is flat doesn't change anything, why the need to lie about it?

This is so very important but you can't see change from the belief in it because something else kept paradise from happening.

So, if the truth about flat earth was going to be discovered and belief in it isn't going to change anything, why lie about it?

They could have just kept the flat earth model. It would not have made a difference except to you, because you have attached more meaning to it than just the earth being flat. You have pegged your religious belief to it.

Actually, the side of earth that faces the sun 93 million miles away turns away from the sun to make the sun appear to set. Night is the literal shadow made by the spherical shape of the earth.

The sun is blocked the curvature of the earth. If the earth was flat, the sun would be visible all the time. A flat earth would never have a sunset.

Oil rigs off the coast of Santa Barbara give us some great opportunities to view the curve of the Earth. But they also provide great opportunities for refraction to confuse the issue. How do we know it's not just refraction on a flat earth that just LOOKS round? I've added the oil-rigs to my refraction simulator, so people can experiment with what refraction is capable of doing. Also to demonstrate that you can't actually make a Flat Earth look round with refraction.

An oversimplification.
But it is documented light refraction bends light so objects over the horizon can be seen.

But the oil rig at sea is a more accurate account because of water finding it’s level, and the surface of the sea literally maintain sea level, vs the chaos of land above sea level. And it’s changed is elevation.

Campanella devises an experiment involving three posts of the same height and a high-powered laser. The idea is to set up three measuring posts over a nearly 4 mile length of equal elevation. Once the laser is activated at the first post, its height can be measured at the other two. If the laser is at eight feet on the first post, then five feet at the second, then it indicates the measuring posts are set upon the Earth's curvature.

In his first attempt, Campanella's laser light spread out too much over the distance, making an accurate measurement impossible. But at the very end of Behind the Curve, Campanella comes up with a similar experiment, this time involving a light instead of a laser. With two holes cut into styrofoam sheets at the same height, Campanella hopes to demonstrate that a light shone through the first hole will appear on a camera behind the second hole, indicating that a light, set at the same height as the holes, travelled straight across the surface of the Flat Earth. But if the light needs to be raised to a different height than the holes, it would indicate a curvature, invalidating the Flat Earth.

Campanella watches when the light is activated at the same height as the holes, but the light can't be seen on the camera screen. "Lift up your light, way above your head," Campanella says. With the compensation made for the curvature of the Earth, the light immediately appears on the camera. "Interesting," Campanella says. "That's interesting." The documentary ends.

The bible is not truth. I know this is simply not possible for you to comprehend, which is why you continue this pointless exercise relentlessly, but were it not suggested in the bible, it should make no difference to you what shape the Earth is.

This literal belief in the bible is the problem, and it's your own making. Your belief is that if there is the slightest possibility of untruth in the word of your god, then what other untruths can there be? Where will this end? The consequences for your church and fanatic branch of religion are devastating. To you the word of god is the ultimate truth, despite what evidence defies that word. You are the problem.

Billions of Christians, Jews and Muslims, who all share the same foundations of their belief system, understand that their religious texts are not literal. They are still faithful, their gods still love them and they will be rewarded in their own ways at the end of their lives. For you it is not the same.

For you every single word counts and the literal translation of those words are final, otherwise the consequences for you and your particular branch of religion is the destruction of your faith. This is why you defend it so vehemently and no amount of evidence will satisfy you. When presented with facts and evidence you counter that with scripture.

You say that us normal people have been brainwashed by Satan. Well I hate to break it to you buddy; there is indeed a cult at work here, but you don't realise you're a member of it.

Here are some charateristics of Kali Yuga:

Rulers will become unreasonable: they will levy taxes unfairly.
Rulers will no longer see it as their duty to promote spirituality, or to protect their subjects: they will become a danger to the world.
Greed and wrath will be common. Humans will openly display animosity towards each other. Ignorance of dharma will occur.
Religion, truthfulness, cleanliness, tolerance, mercy, physical strength and memory diminish with each passing day.
People will have thoughts of murder with no justification and will see nothing wrong in that.
Lust will be viewed as socially acceptable and sexual intercourse will be seen as the central requirement of life.
Sin will increase exponentially, while virtue will fade and cease to flourish.
People will become addicted to intoxicating drinks and drugs.
Gurus will no longer be respected and their students will attempt to injure them. Their teachings will be insulted, and followers of Kama will wrest control of the mind from all human beings.
All the human beings will declare themselves as gods or boon given by gods and make it as a business instead of teachings.
People will no longer get married and will live with each other just for sexual pleasure.
Weather and environment will degrade over time.
Many fake ideologies will spread throughout the world.
The powerful people will dominate the poor people.
Many diseases will spread.

The globe theory just being a fake ideology. But its one of many transgressions.
