As a online re-seller/e-tailer since 1999, this is the worst I have ever seen our mail system operate in my life. I use USPS as often as possible because I get such great discounts and never have issues, but lately, packages have been late or as you said, sent to places not on the typical route to destination. Why would a package need to travel to S.F. from AZ to get to Chicago? Idk.
I recieve lots of mail, 99% packages. Recently, other than being marked delivered and then having to wait 2 more days or going to retrieve it myself.
Also, a few of my items have been partially opened as well. Nothing missing or damaged, but it's starting to become a pattern.
We had the same mail lady for 14 years, never a problem. Since this WuFlu nonsense, it has been chaotic. Different carriers, some not in uni's, tossing mail up the porch, delivery as late as 9 P.M.
I don't know if it's any one thing, but I do know it's plainly and painfully obvious something is wrong.
