Yeah, different people should in some instances be treated differently. Indeed.

Take a person with Down's syndrome for instance.

Let us flip this issue:

So ... lets assume someone may want to treat them like a so-called 'normal' person?

If you have normal expectations for this person, they are going to 'fail' in life, most likely.

They definitely need to be treated differently, IMHO -- for their own sake, as just one example.

(clarification: treated 'differently' does not equal being treated in any way 'worse' or 'shabbily' in my estimation. Just. Different.)

Different than what? Everyone is different so not sure who would be classified as "different". Maybe you meant to say: "everyone should be treated equally regardless of their differences". I wish that could happen but I don't think it can. Only God has the ability to treat everyone the same. imho.
