The learning centers, in six cities and using Disney characters like Mickey Mouse and the Little Mermaid in their curriculum, have been closed since late January, when the Chinese government began to take aggressive efforts to contain the coronavirus. Traditional schools have been allowed to slowly reopen, but some supplemental education centers, including Disney English, have remained closed.
Mahesh Samat, Disney’s executive vice president of consumer products commercialization in the Asia-Pacific region, told parents in a letter on Monday that Disney English had made the “difficult decision” not to reopen. The chain was founded in 2008, when China’s fast-growing middle class had created increased demand for English-language learning. Disney developed the curriculum in partnership with Columbia University.
USPS police barred Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz from entering two mail sorting facilities in Florida in the early morning hours on Friday, threatening to escort her from the property if she didn't leave.
But when Wasserman Schultz went to the Royal Palm Processing and Distribution Center in Opa-Locka, Florida, for a 4 a.m. tour of the facility, the entrance to the parking lot was blocked by caution tape and a Postal Service police car. Her visit to the Miami Processing and Distribution Center a couple hours later was blocked by two Postal Service police officers in the lobby.

I think this is pretty much my favorite article of the day. After not hearing anything from nor about her for almost 3 years now she shows up here?

Little snippet as they much have known she was coming and why at 4am?

Also for just a memory lane trip, I have wondered for awhile now what has been going on in the background when it comes to her aide Imran Awan. You know he has to connect somewhere along the line going forward. He holds at least some of the keys of information.

Refusing to replace employees who retire or depart has been the Postal Service’s go-to tool for cost-cutting. The agency has 300,000 fewer employees than it did a few decades ago. Still, USPS has 500,000 employees and 600,000 retirees who receive health and pension benefits. Thus, the agency’s compensation costs rose $2 billion since 2015.
This past year, USPS reported a $2.7 billion loss. A look at the revenue side of the ledger reveals why. Mail volume is sliding. Less mail means less money. A decade ago, USPS raked in $75 billion in revenue; last year its haul was a little less than $70 billion. Mail volume peaked at 213 billion mail pieces in 2006; it was 149 billion in 2017. That is a 30 percent fall-off. There are simply fewer letters, postcards, marketing mail (aka junk mail), and periodicals being sent, as big mailers and John Q. Public alike have shifted to electronic delivery.

Are we watching a movie? It kinda seems like it, or a video game.
Rewatching the infamous interview, when the terrorist lies about his crime againt humanity, and VICE tries to justify it and comingle with Kyle's case and the truck caravan. Notice his language, he indirectly refers to the Trump supporter's trucks as (not) "real citizens". Other tells abound, and since the new footage from the criminal indictment makes a liar out of him, it FULLY discredits Antifa, et al as the lying murderers they are.
I don't think VICE mentions Antifa by name, certainly not reiterating the "100% Antifa" claim.

NOGALES, Ariz. -- U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers are noticing an alarming trend in the illegal drug trade: Methamphetamine is flooding across the border at an all-time high, and officers say the coronavirus pandemic has affected its prevalence and price tag.
Officers say in all, the total volume of meth seized is almost double than last year with still a couple months left to go in the fiscal year. In fact, the volume of meth seized has been increasing annually for several years. In fiscal year 2019, the Office of Field Operations seized some 68,585 pounds of meth nationwide, compared to 118,153 pounds so far this year.

Posting this POTUS tweet, from 17:48:10, because of the language POTUS uses about Labor weekend. It is the 3rd in a row of 3 video tweets, each respectively 1:02, 00:45 and 00:54 minutes long:
t.co...
Excerpts:
"We ask all Americans to remain vigilant, especially over Labors Day, err Labor Day"
"You know, you have the Labor Day weekend coming upon us, immediately, I guess we can say 'pretty immediately' and... we need everybody to be careful, to apply common sense and do all of the things that we've told you to do, as quickly, as much as you can!"
"...staying like... staying with a group that you know. Let's just try and get through this ONE weekend and I think we have a chance of doing that"
"We're really ROUNDING THE TURN"
I think this clip is pointing to:
a) Thomas Paine Common Sense - Q1776
b) AS THE WORLD TURNS - 10 Q posts
ETA - POTUS has just done a tweet storm of 34 tweets (so far).

Q8 Huma Abedin's Dilema: HRC, Muslim Brotherhood, or child?
The Lion and Sun (Persian: شیر و خورشید, romanized: Šir-o xoršid, pronounced [ˌʃiːɾo xoɾˈʃiːd]; Classical Persian: [ˌʃeːɾu xʷuɾˈʃeːd]) is one of the main emblems of Iran (Persia), and formerly was an element in Iran's national flag until the 1979 Iranian Revolution. The motif, which illustrates ancient and modern Iranian traditions, became a popular symbol in Iran in the 12th century. The lion and sun symbol is based largely on astronomical and astrological configurations: the ancient sign of the sun in the house of Leo, which itself is traced back to Babylonian astrology and Near Eastern traditions.

Mystery of 'magnificent palace' found in Jerusalem
Israeli archaeologists have discovered what they say is evidence of a "magnificent" palace from the era of a Biblical Jewish kingdom in Jerusalem.
Elaborately carved stone structures and other relics associated with such a building were found about 3km (2 miles) south of Jerusalem's Old City.
The archaeologists say some of the artefacts had been neatly buried, although they do not know why.
Kosovo, Serbia to open embassies in Jerusalem
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Friday that Kosovo has agreed to open its embassy to Israel in Jerusalem, making it the first country with a Muslim majority to do so.
The Kosovo embassy announcement came shortly after Netanyahu said the two countries had agreed to establish diplomatic ties following a similar announcement by US President Donald Trump in Washington.
I'll toss this in as it has the 88 function.
