2 shot dead, 1 injured in Kenosha

Leaving aside the actual legal defences available to the shooter, I have a big doubt about the politics.

Those in charge will know that if he walks, their streets will be full of antifa types looking to smash everything up.

I really doubt anything can get him off when he has the legislators and the media dead against him.

It'll be a stitch up.

I'm a parent too, I spend so much time explaining to my son the need to deescalate, the need to turn the other cheek, to not react.

Even in such simple things as being teased, him reacting results in more teasing. All he has to do is ignore the antagoniser and they will get bored, you know something it's working and his school life has improved dramatically.

If this kids mother did drive him over state lines for this she should be held responsible in some way.

You and me may differ slightly on that: I don't buy into the 'turning the other cheek' thing quite as much as many do.
I think people have to learn to stand up to bullies.
Unfortunately some people in this world only respond to getting knocked on their arse and being humiliated.

I hate bullies....with a passion.

People have to learn to stand up for themselves.

But I do get it that each person learns to do that in their own way and if it is working for your son then I am really pleased for both you and him.

My daughter got bullied a bit for a short while and my approach was no good for her.
She dealt with it her way which was more in line with what you advocate.
Her son, my Grandson, seems to have adopted a mixture of both and tends not to be bullied.....but he is only 9 years old.

As for this kids mother: Can she be charged with the US equivalent of manslaughter through gross negligence?

I don't think that matters in the big scheme of things, both the mother and child will suffer because of poor choices.

So with regards to my son, hes 10 and his high school life will be very different to now, I will likely be teaching him martial arts and other ways of dealing with bullies.

I remember 17. That was a tough year for me. I got into fights. I did what I would today describe as stupid sht. The next year I joined the US Army. Problem solved. Then I did stupid stuff but I did it for Uncle Sam.

Everything about that is a LIE. Kyle was there to help keep a business safe but he was also ready to help anyone that needed medical help.

The Communist idiots decide to chase him with a brick and the guy behind the brick thrower started shooting his pistol in the air, making Kyle think he was being shot at. He smartly defends himself but unfortunately does not hit the idiot with the pistol, it hit the brick thrower who was really stupid for chasing Kyle.

The Guy with the pistol was the instigator to all of this and I bet money he was paid to make sure something like this happened.

Thankfully Kyle had obviously great training or his life would have been lost after being attacked.

Only purely mentally deranged people run after someone with a gun. They deserve everything they got.

I have seen every angle of it recorded audio breakdown of it and who fired first, It was not Kyle! You hear a pistol then the louder AR fire 3 shots.

I am VERY curious to see if the felon with a pistol that got arm shot gets arrested and prosecuted for carrying a pistol with a record and assaulting the kid.

Yeah I tried ignoring my bullies in school. for 2 years i wouldn't react to them and they persisted. Then One day In the library after being tripped I snapped. All I remember is being pulled off them by some people. My shirt was bloody(theirs not mine) I had nearly bitten one of their throats out,and had broken the others knees.
No,i advise you tell your children sometimes its better to stand up,even if you get your butt kicked.
I ruined their football scolarships as well by doing that,but they started it.

Turning the other cheek is only for non life threatening situations. NO when you get hit and it hurts,thats past the time to turn the cheek.

i believe regardless of the result of the kid's court appearance, he will be a target for violence.

Americans are surprisingly respectful of murderers who have been exonerated in courts.
