Post Here ONCE If You'd Pay for ATS

I've been here 13 years. My 3rd home. Besides the decline over the last few years, I certainly would be interested in throwing some pennies in the jar.

I would even though i dont post much. The majority of the time i am on my phone, its because i’m reading this site. The politics stuff doesnt bother because i dont have to read the thread, just the title. Not really an issue. I’ll read just about every other thread though, and those make it very much worth it, usually.

This is probably my first post because I've been lurking here for the better part of two decades. I've always been slightly nervous to ever post here, to be honest. I absolutely love the content but I also work for the government with a clearance and I just want to be careful. That being said, the Aliens forum has been my go-to.

It broke me a little to see that message and at this point, I want to say I would be happy to pay to keep this community alive. While I would be willing to pay $5 a month I think that would be a tough sell for a lot of people. I would though be willing to do that.

A tiered program could be a good idea though. Most sites offer a tiered program. Also maybe a recap podcast for the popular forums would be awesome and could grab that higher-tiered value. Hearing a couple of people recap the Aliens forum threads would be so awesome.

I’ve lurked for years before joining last year. The overall tone has changed a bit, but what drew me to ATS is definitely still here. I’d hate to see it fade away. I would pay to keep it around. I’d want to see the numbers before throwing a dollar amount out there though. My first thought was $10 a month, but Could go a little higher to save the site. Seriously sad, especially right now. The threads started on topics from first hand witnesses are invaluable right now, especially as far as things like the protests and CHAZ. The MSM is so conflicting you almost have to see something to believe it these days.

$2.99-$4.99 a month? $9.99-$19.99 a year? Something like that?Absolutely! The very second the payment system is put up there. $99.99 yearly automatically renewing subscription that to cancel you must call and wait three hours on various holds before you can actually opt out? No.

Maybe a decent price like 19.99 and offer the paid members a special perk that normal members don't get...some special priveledge on the site or better yet a shiney official looking badge with my picture and the title Special Agent with above top secret clearance stamped on it so when I open my wallet I look like a secret agent for some state agency...and a pair of black sunglasses to finish off the ensemble...
