Any thread or post that is political is of no value at all to me. I am here for Yellowstone, aliens, aircraft, bigfoot and stuff like that. I'd say that I'm here for covid, but that's my day job.

Get rid of the politics and I'd be happy with your way.

I would pay $5.00 a month.....but only if the regular contributors stay as well, JK. It wouldn't be much fun though with the main contributors gone.

But I still see a problem. Say you have around 500 people paying $5/mo, still not enough money by a long shot. And I don't see enough people that would pay for the site and not many that would pay more than $10/mo and again, not enough money to meet ATS $25k monthly maintenance fees.

Well, then, maybe what ATS should do is start a new, separate site where people who love to insult each other all the time over politics can do that and the more paranormally inclined can go to the other site.

Or someone with enough money can start that site on their own. "Sick of your UFO threads being buried by noisy political nonsense? Come on over to Need To Know (KTK) dot com.! The "No Trump Talk" zone."

I'd pay. Say $5 a month. I also think it would be good if some forums have paid subscription's while others remained free.

The content here, the pointers to documents, links to scarce finds, pictures, stories, are irreplaceable to me and can't be lost in the same manner as a fire in the night leaving behind no trace of these precious resources.

I'm asking that every ATS member, posts a single post ONLY if you would pay for ATS, and how much per month you'd be willing to spend or contribute. (fwiw - Wikipedia has straight up asked for donations when they needed it, maybe something similar here?)

Thanks in advance. There's no need to respond to anyone's posts or post here just to say you wouldn't pay and why, so I'm asking for consideration in just posting one time with the amount to keep this internet treasure.

I would never donate to ATS because I did not feel it was worth it. Change things ... up the anty... and I'm in.
