LOL

So, did Hubby cook an Argonian yet?
I don't play games so I had to look that up. Those games must be addicting as hell. Looks so cool and fun.

It's an AWESOME game! I'm not much for fantasy games, but The Elder Scrolls franchise is a special sort of magical with such a high degree of stories to play & detail in them that it appeals to just about anyone once they dip their toes in

The Argonian quip is sort of an inside joke between him and I. When I first went to the map area where they're from, I pretty much hated it immediately -- it's a marshland, so the depiction is very wet & full of crocodiles (among other swamp critters that want to eat you) We played part of the area's story together and had to traverse the area a lot. I got real tired of fighting off crocodiles every few minutes, lol, so I turned to hubs and said tongue-in-cheek, "This place SUCKS. It's HOT. It's humid. Everything is always soaked and muddy. It's full of crap that wants to eat you. And it SMELLS, what is that odor, anyway? This place is Florida, yeesh." I was actually fairly surprised at how much (and how hard) he laughed at that, lol.

Now when he drags me along, I feign disdain for the area and/or Argonians as a running inside joke. The last time we went there, I said, "Oh yay. Shadowfen again, wonderful. If Argonians are lizardfolk, does that mean they taste like gator tail, too? Let's ask a crocodile, they attack everything anyway, must have eaten some of their talking cousins by now. Maybe one has a recipe, at least dinner would make digging mud out of my shoes all day more worthwhile."

Although the recipe from a crocodile isn't unheard of. I've picked up some really weird things off animals, lol. Exactly where does a snake keep a staff anyway?

I have heard a lot of good about Skyrim. I was listening to Skyrim ambience last night. 10 hour piece... 2 or 3 hours went by and i wanted some change. But i have seen official trailers, gameplay videos and such. I have had ps1, ps2, ps3 and i gotta have ps4. Around November this year, ps5 will be released and that should mean a significant price drop for ps4. First games will The Witcher 3 and NHL 20. Or maybe NHL 21 by then... That should keep me busy for... eternity about. I miss console gaming.

Oh, i just googled, Skyrim is also for PC. On which platform do you play?

Editing: This is what i was listening last night. Yeah, 10 hour piece but the idea is there right away.

Home made rissoles.

Beef and pork mince, grated tomato, onion and carrot with hot English mustard, Worcestershire sauce, tomato sauce ( ketchup ) a hint of chilli salt, an egg plus some breadcrumbs to help bind it ... served with mashed potato with heaps of butter and mushy peas.

Left over rissoles are great on sandwiches for lunch !

Covid excitement for today !!

The girls are into treats. In fact, treat is their favorite word. My youngest dog tries to chase wasps. I tell her no and she stops immediately. Scares me every time.

Skyrim is the 5th leg of the Elder Scrolls franchise, there's a 6th coming in a few years (yeah, I'll be buying it, lol) I play it on the laptop (PC)

What I'm currently playing is Elder Scrolls: Online, it's a free-to-play (for the most part) Hubs has an annual subscription that grants full access to all area of the game, among other perks he likes (some are pay-to-access maps) I play the free-to-play baseline game with those pay areas still unavailable to me, but there's more than enough for me to do elsewhere already. I've only fully completed just one map so far -- there's the main story, and many secondary side stories, many simple independent quick quests, exploring to find all the hidden gems, etc. When I get many more maps completed, I'll consider buying access to those one at a time down the road, perhaps.

I'm not sure if it was money for the private portal or for my cosmetic surgery so I can look like Phyllis Diller.

The sun has finally set and the 102* heat is now a cool 94*.

I've since had my second coffee to give me a little CPR to recover from my day.
Eating chips with salsa now but not with as much salsa as I intended as the bowl was introduced to my elbow upon sitting down. The loss was minimal so I should get by.

Today I succeeded in open a bank account (the portal money???) in an way which is the norm these days. Due to the threat of actually coming in contact with another human being my bank, like the others no longer allows anyone inside. This means that I spent part of the process in the commercial lane of the drive through and the remainder out front in my car in the parking lot.

Once done I went to a grocery store nearby for shopping. A man's gotta have his ice cream on days like this anyway. I haven't been to this store since the start of the virus. Due to the heat and time of day not only a few shoppers were there. The store has all their aisles marked for one way traffic now. As these are tiny signs on the floor I paid little attention to them and walked as I pleased. What are they going to do? Write me a ticket for walking improperly?

That is my day for the most part. My wrist is doing somewhat better but still has it's moments everyday. I'm still counting down the days (21 more) until the cast is removed and wondering is the pins sticking out of the wrist will be removed at that time.

In other news my dad is treating me like an idiot with my hopeful to get Social Security money. 3-4 times a day her comes in and tells me not to go nuts by spending it all at once and to take my time, with his controlling help of course, when looking for a car to buy. As I'm 58 I think I can do this without his "expert" and "all knowing" help. After all, the name of this game is to get out of here as soon as I find the best place in Tulsa to move in part to be about 440 miles away from him but mainly to get my life back. Our poor Jacy is having problems getting online as she is having issues with her tablet. I wish we could get her a new one as she is stuck at home like a lot of us without outside contact.

Sounds delish mate. Had my hit of Curried mashed peas over a Sergeants pie the other night. Extra curry, some chili, turmeric and smoked paprika powders mixed in. The resonance the next morning was disturbing but I can't help it.

Cheers,

Bally

Love this music! I've spent many hours playing the Elder Scrolls games and the music is one of the best aspects to those games! It pulls you right back into that time and place of fantasy adventure.

I understand fascination towards role playing games. But is set my foot down 1991.

Secret of the Silver Blades is the third in a four-part series of Forgotten Realms Dungeons & Dragons "Gold Box" adventure role-playing video games. The game was released in 1990.

Endless wandering and i could not make my character evolve the way i wanted, whether i was a magician or a warrior or whatever there was. I decided that this stuff is not for me. But i was 10 years old, i see RPG:s have come a long way

But really. Fantasy rocks, i just rather watch a movie than play a game. If i play a game, then i want to steal the puck, deke and dangle through the defense and lift the puck straight into the upper corner!

Yeah but it is just a matter of preferences really. How have you been lately?

One virtual drink, please? One of those special I-Spent-One-Hour-Shopping-In-A-Supermarket-Fix-Me-NOW ones...

Make it a double, actually

How can anyone enjoy shopping? Well that is a matter of preferences also, like which game one plays...

Whee... brrrgh.... But yeah i have done it now. It just takes a while to recover. But a hoodie was on sale for 12 euros, had to take it, and some other clothes. Unable to enter my laundry room anymore. One day i was going to schedule a couple of hours for me from the calendar, but my key didn't work. Strange... And it really didn't work, i was sober and as an ex security guard, i know how keys work. Gotta call to some offices but that is next week's business

Have a nice weekend everyone, stay healthy, stay safe

"K's Choice is a Belgian rock band from Antwerp, formed in the mid-1990s. "

This is audio only. Multiple countries where this is "disallowed". NOT due to profanity or anything nasty, it is a slow and nice song, with a smoky lead singer voice... I always check my YT videos when i post. Usually it is "The video is unrestricted" But sometimes there is a huge list of "Disallowed countries" and it is not due to any bad stuff. I think it is a copyright thing. Obviously, if i am posting to a person in Finland then i do not need to check. But on ATS i do.

With that being said, North America, Australia are allowed. And many many others.
