Hey, stop pissing on the narrative. I like making judgements before I know everything and that's the way it's gotta stay.

Yeah, there are "victims". Then there's people that make themselves "victims". This is pure self defense.

Why didn't they just call 911? Lol! Worry not! All "lawyers" involved will get paid and the government will get its cut.

This one was an odd shooting. The medics look like two hippies dressed up for Halloween. They get to the victim before the shooter even gets out of the car. The victim has no blood nor bullet hole in his arm where the 'medics' are later applying pressure during his 'interview' while he's being escorted by the medics.

The police response was totally bizarre, too.

I was on Twitter when this first happened last night...the people who shared it didn't include the shooter's name but said he was a 'known white supremacist.' Clearly, he's not...well, he's not 'white' anyway.

A vehicle in motion is also considered a deadly weapon, right?

wonder why he had double mags in the in the weapon. was he expecting sh@@ or just a ese gang banger.

makes me wonder now.

Because if you're confronted with a mob, you have no guarantee that you'll only have one attacker?

With that set up (as ridiculous as it is) he certainly didn’t have it concealed. Which isn’t a very good look when you’re driving toward a protest.

All MSM had orders to make this into an incident and hide the real problem.

Even Fox was sucked in to the BS 😆

Anyone else see the irony of this happening at a rainbow crosswalk?
If someone 6'4" 300 lbs starts trying to attack me through a car window I would defend myself too. He obviously had the intention of stomping the driver half dead yet he is the "victim"?
What a load of shyte.

That's the first thing I noticed in the picture too. Why two mags taped together? Was he expecting trouble? Was he looking for trouble? Why was he there? Lots of questions. As far as shooting the guy that was trying to pull him out of the car, just from what we have to watch I would think it is justified.

This is going to be nuanced. The initial drive does show him going pretty quick. He slowed down when he seen the barricade..so that could cause issues.

The reaching in and assaulting might be a clean shot because...one could reasonably fear for his life, but I suspect some charges will stick, maybe not of the shooting, but of the driving erratically and putting others in danger from the previous seconds.

I'll let the courts decide on this one as it is very gray

I don't know what the local laws are, but as far as I'm concerned, I don't care why he's there or that he has his mags taped together. They mobbed his vehicle and began physically assaulting him inside his own car. In fact, there's already someone hanging out the driver's side window when the video begins, so I don't give a damn about 'erratic driving', either. Completely justified case of self-defense, IMO.

I agree. Could be conditions before hand leading to him removing it from its concealed location though.

Apparently there’s a police precinct at 11th and Pine, and it’s been the site of protests for several days with the intersection barricaded.

Gonna be tough for him to explain why he drove towards that intersection.

Yeah, can't have that. Pissing on the narrative of the ATS mob which at this point is leaning heavily towards the wish that there had been more blood.

Yep. There is a larger context here than is displayed by that short video.

There is a larger context that may or may not be a context for this incident. We know that there are ''hunters'' who have used their vehicles as weapons against crowds though at this point we do not know as that this is the case here. Possibly but we do not know.

We also know that there is this belief that my car rules the road and that any an all pedestrians who are not in compliance with the laws of the road are fair game because, ''my car, my road'' thinking. The laws though say that all due caution must be taken while driving a motor vehicle.

But we can also see that this shooter has the look of an LEO and may have been driving to work which would explain why he was there in the first place.

We just don't know. And again you have added a possibly broader view of this incident that is readily available through video coverage.

I don't think he's police due to the jungle style magazines, more of a yahoo thing to do.

Yep. There’s a lot of unknowns still, so anybody saying it’s definitely self defense is making nothing more than assumption on incomplete information. Maybe it is self defense, but from where I stand he’s got some large questions to answer before he can make that claim.

I don’t see him being a cop because any cop working that city would know that precinct is effectively under siege, and has been since the protests started. I can’t think of any reason why he would drive that way to get to work. Having said that, the riot line seemed very nonplussed when he walked up to them which is more than a little strange.

Twitter says it’s a 10 round mag banded to a 33 round mag. Which just makes it even more absurd than it already was.
