Cute narrative, but not even the clergy at the Church were informed that Trump would be making an appearance. Instead they were chased off with tear gas and rubber bullets just like the protesters.

Yesterday was Monday. The 1st. Curfew was in effect. Is you hate that deep you cannot count days? Seriously, how hard is it to look something up before you post it?

You openly ask Americans to terrorize other Americans.
And, as expected, you attempt to walk it balk to some moral high ground that never existed.

The curfew was supposed to go into effect at 7. The National Guard began assaulting protesters around 6.
But feel free to continue making excuses for fascism.

And yet from everything I've read, religious leaders think this PR stunt was disgusting.
Trump clearly has no idea what he's doing at this point.
His days are def numbered!

Lol
Can you show me video of someone not doing something?
Is that what you are asking for
Sounds good though, huh?
There’s just no denying the fact here, no matter how much the professionals want to deflect to the church, or to BIden, or to anything except this fact:
They are defending the President’s use of the military against AMERICANS exercising their Constitutional rights for a weak-ass photo op.
Doggone it, you're off the mark again. There is no constitutional right to riot and loot or get in the way of the President, any president. At least be consistent about it.
Well gosh darn it and gee wilickers ... why dont you QUOTE me saying there’s a constitutional right to riot.
Because the Americans that Trump attacked for his photo-op were Assembling (see Amendment I).
You haven't shown proof of that. I asked for a video back on page three and I got crickets. Nothing. Either show proof or stop it.
ETA: Your NYT link is nice but the timeline is not consistent. Were the protesters leaving at 7:01 like they were supposed to or were they told to leave and didn't? The article alludes to both, so which is it? Context is everything here.
Gryphon66 Nope.
Remember, this has to be boiled down to the most basic black-and-white dilemma.

That's wrong. Trump was never known as a heavy Christian guy like pence. Photo OP's with the bible. Evangelical prayers with pastors on video.
Obviously a stunt to get christian PR.
Don't worry, if biden did it too i would also call him out for the silly tactics.

It's fun to see how many Constitutionalists are actually complete hypocrites.
Hundreds of people had their First Amendment rights denied to them at the barrel of a gun held by the military all because Trump needed to take a picture and apparently it's not a big deal to the "Shall Not Infringe" crowd.
The one that Trump is standing in front of again ... holding the Bible upside down. (Isn’t that a satanic image?)

Trump is really trying to get that christian vote. Kind of pathetic.
As pathetic as telling black people that if you vote for Trump, you ain't black?
Nah.
Both are sad, pathetic pandering old men.
And Biden is racist. But we'll let that slip since he's a democrat.
Why?
That is one place Trump beats out Joe though. He is a bigger racist.

Whataboutism....expected.
Sadly, predictably, laughably.
