Trump is correct. Same thing happened during the LA riots. Business owners and the Marines were indeed shooting and killing looters. I was in the Marines at the time in SoCal but not activated. It stopped as soon as Marines showed up I know that much. Amazing how quick looters flee when a few are dropped. Bunch of losers and cowards. I was also in the Guard years later and dealt with looters during Katrina. We set a curfew and started arresting people. It immediately stopped.

The 1968 DNC convention FAR overshadowed the problems with the RNC convention, so nobody remembers it.

I just watched live the Mayor's presser... it seems he values human lives over an actual response to the riots.

Barring any additional evidence (which I assume there is none) those cops should go to jail especially the one on his neck. I don't know if the cop is racist or if they are just that #ing stupid. Either is a real possibility. I'm all on board with peacefully protesting that # but with that being said I would not feel bad for someone that got shot trying to burn down a police station...

Some of his supporters will bend over backwards to justify his tweet but I happen to listen to conservative radio so I can get both ends of the spectrum and even the talk show I was listening to(890am Chicago) couldn't side with the president on this one. They seem to think he doesn't want to win reelection (this along with the Scarborough debacle) and is trying his hardest to find a way out.

Yep. Complete cowards to flee from soldiers armed with automatic weapons who are allowed to killed you.

They should've squared up with them using molotov cocktails and rocks.

If they are looting and burning the place down, I'm okay with sending in the National Guard to help maintain order.

I am NOT okay with any president openly advocating violence against citizens on the streets.
