China is in a world of hurt right now. They are coming up on the need to finally pay the piper after decades of faked growth. Companies will leave and move on to the "next" cheap labor pool as they have done so many times in the past. China has lost any credibility for doing quality work that now they are a liability in so many things they have their fingers in.

Add in they want world dominance and that just gets other countries to not only say NO but HELL NO! As companies leave if we add sanctions on top then they don't have much left then to go back to their old ways of total internal economics which will drive them back 30 years in progression.

Well, here's some things to think about...

What if China, after realizing they'd released the virus, whether accidentally or intentionally, just said..."Well, let's see what happens"...rather than notifying the World? But it gets spookier...

As others have noted, this will not likely be the cause of WWIII, and most of the world knows this, including the Chinese. So, what did the Chinese learn from this??? Well, what they learned is very scary indeed! They learned they can release a virus into the world, no one will do anything about it, and they can crush and / or control the world economy! They can cause governments around the globe to shut down, lock their entire populations down...and nobody is going to do a gawd damned thing about it! And it gets even worse...

Because the MSM has been so bent on covering for China so they can take Bad Orange Man down, they've completely misled the public on China's liability for all of this. Had there been unbiased coverage of the events from the beginning, the world might have taken a much stronger stance economically against China, but now this is unlikely to happen. All because...Orange Man Bad.

So, what's to stop China, or Russia, or Iran, or North Korea from pulling the same stunt six months or a year from now??? COVID-20? EBOLA+HIV-20? Or, who knows what? And nobody is going to do a gawd damned thing about it other than cower in fear and unleash economic ruin on the world. I can't even begin to count the number of ideologies out there who would LOVE nothing better than this!!

The point here is...now, anyone with evil intent, knows how to paralyze all humans on planet Earth, and it's been proven to work!

My feeling is that people are missing the link from this to the arrest of the Harvard professor. He created nanobots that can live in cells are not distinguishable from life. They can create a "net" that forms their own link up in the brain.
All of this is supposed to be for healing disease. Why was he arrested just as the virus broke out, he had contracts with the US Gov. National Institutes of Health (NIH) and Department of Defense (DOD) what was he doing running that virus lab in China, what was in the vials being smuggled?

He was released two days later on a $1 million bond. An affidavit outlining the charges against Lieber notes that in January 2013, he signed an agreement between Harvard and Wuhan University of Technology (WUT) in China.

Zaosong Zheng, 30, a Chinese national, was arrested on Dec. 10, 2019, at Boston’s Logan International Airport and charged by criminal complaint with attempting to smuggle 21 vials of biological research to China. On Jan. 21, 2020, Zheng was indicted on one count of smuggling goods from the United States and one count of making false, fictitious or fraudulent statements. He has been detained since Dec. 30, 2019.

300k for starters and that don't include the Chinese. 350k by end of May.

But again... what IF the virus escaped a lab in Wuhan? Yea, I get it, bad Chinese gov't. But how does that change the FUBAR that was our national response? Once it was out (no matter how that happened) our containment was up to us. We had the warnings. All we needed to do was act.

A spokesperson for the US Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases (USAMRIID) tells the newspaper that no disease-causing materials have been found outside authorized areas at the site.

According to its website, USAMRIID has been the US Department of Defense’s lead laboratory for medical biological defense research since 1969. The News-Post reports that the facility has both level 3 and level 4 biosafety labs and has worked on pathogens such as Ebola, Yersinia pestis (plague), and Francisella tularensis (tularemia). Those pathogens are among those considered “select agents and toxins” by the Department of Health and Human Services, which only allows authorized labs to work on them.

No WW3, just ask CHINA to help with the global cost to humanity for not taking proper precautions.
Make supplies associated with COVID19 cheaper or free for example that come from CHINA.
Maybe a little break on the meds also, no need to go into primitive style warfare that will only kill and harm more people then the virus. Save them weapons in case the unhappy group visits this planet from the abyssal depths where they hide...

Well, there’s google maps although I wouldn’t trust it to save my life.

Depends on who you are and what you have access to. If you have your own satellite in orbit taking pictures of the surface you’d have a leg up in this investigation. Otherwise, only a few nation states around the globe have that kind of imaging available, but you and I do not have access to that data.

I’m sure POTUS has access to it and has seen it already.
