Well the amo looks very real. Is it possible to build a functional weapon from parts from a softgun?

At least With the part you point out.

WHat these People can have done is that they have made weapons from toys so that nothing can be traced. and its a lot easier to come by.

I've looked at this story from every angle and couldn't make sense of it. One of the most bizarre things I've looked into in a while. Something isn't adding up.

*Puts tin foil hat on.

Maybe a big farse by Maduro to gain sympathy.

You can put the tin foil hat down. There's a very good chance this is a ploy. If this was a plot to overthrow him, it's as amateur as you can get.

Appears very unprof, Vena ploy and Mercs on the payroll maybe or decoy for something that is already in place or something to follow and a deliberate bungling not expected to succeed. Somethings maybe afoot!

These idiots were hired by Madura under guise of gaidos "assistants" to draw out conspirators, who agreed to pay 200 mil but didn't even cough up the 1.5 for consulting before they started because "freedom" - which is why he knew about it in March - the fact the CEO of the company tweeted that there was an assault force inbound and the government raided a home with airsoft gear as supplied for invasion and even the stuff they show seized is just some ammo, hard to find 🤣

What I don't understand is if Columbia is such a threat to Maduro, we don't give them a bunch of coke and guns and tell them to handle it.

Nope, AR lower receivers are built a certain way, usually from forged 7075 aluminum.

If they wanted no traceability on the guns they would have just used ghost guns, which use an 80% completed lower receiver that you mill out yourself, no serial numbers and completely legal depending on your state of residence.

But it is possible…..but it takes a lot of work. One thing we have to keep in mind is that these People don't have the same mindsett as moste of us do. These People make Things work. Everything for the mission...that is the mind sett....

This event was not staged i have seen the fottage of their capture. I have also seen the ammo that was confiscated..the ammo is real, and so are those drums you see on the buttom of one of these images. They are loaded With real rounds.

The only give away of any relation to a softgun is the The mag Chamber TAG... That could just be a false give away. The gun can steal be real.

Why they chose this set up is the Clue. Why would they want to make their weapons look like toy's…? There must be a reason for it.... The reason is probably part of the covert mission set up. They are in now... this might have been plan al along. A capture is not always a bad thing.

The weapons will probably be tested for function…. There is no doubt in my mind.

I was wondering that it might have been a Russian something or another. But since the operation is being run by a US security company. It just sounds like hubris and incompetence run amok.

The Americans will be fine. It may take some time, but you will see a homecoming for them before the end of the year. A discreet one though.

Any of the non-Americans will unfortunately be tortured and killed/disappeared.

I don't think so. With terrorists you always have money you can grease wheels with. This guy is a rich as ish tyrant. RICH. He doesn't give a darn about a few million dollars that people may raise. And he knows full well these men would habe captured or killed him had the the chance, that is something he is gonna be blindly furious over and his most effective move would be to make an example of anyone foreign or otherwise who challenges his grip on power. I do hope I am wrong but I think we know what will happen and probably already has.

They definitely have a vested interest in Venezuela... But this doesn't smell like them.

If Venezuela defaults on their loan to Russia, Rosneft gets 49.9% of Citgo. In the long run, that may be worth more than the outstanding balance of the loan.

But this doesn't look like it would play out well for them.

In the video I posted on the last page, the CEO of Silvercorp started out saying Guaido never paid the 1.5 million retainer. I wonder if someone else paid him to botch this since it looks failed from the start to begin with. The only person to gain from this as it stands though looks like Maduro.

When I read "2 U.S. special forces soldiers"
and you dont see a lot of heavly armed troops guarding them.
this looks like some kind of Mess that is staged.

the whole thing is to discredit trump.
if you was ex'U.S. special forceses
would you have been a part of this farce?

In a video aired on Venezuelan television, Luke Denman indicates US President Donald Trump was behind Silvercorp's incursion

Of course its either BS to condemn Trump or else it's just two idiots who have serious delusions about their line of work. Now that I am more familiar with the story, the second I learned that they were tweeting about the capture plans as they were in progress I knew it was bs and more likely just two morons who call themselves special forces but aren't.

Gonna be taking our stealth craft up to the beach now, changing into our special top secret comma do Ghillie suits. 100,000 likes and subscribes and we will toss our guns and rely solely on top secret triple black belt martial arts to capture!

theories?

1) handful of gung-ho types decide Venezuela is ready to revolt and decides to get things going.
very unlikely.

2) hired by opposition (Guiado) who promised a lot of support that never happened.
right now, best possibility I think.

3) deep cover fake attempt by US covert to seek intel, test, etc.
would be interesting to see if any of the men involved got million$ deposits in their accounts

4) false flag by Maduro and friends
possible. question, did the ops know they were working for Maduro, or did he use a plant. (would explain some of the stuff in the pictures)

5) DEA op that went wrong and Maduro is using for propaganda.
could be. I guess.

somebody compared to Bay of Pigs and mentioned Trump. If Trump was behind this, it would have been a lot bigger and better, I think.

I believe the bankers would send their lackeys to attack.

I don't believe they would carry their passports.

Maduro's a maniac. If this alleged Op Gideon's goals really were as stated, it's sad that their attempt failed, and I feel bad for the men who were captured, and who'll likely have to navigate this ordeal without their countries' overt support. If they survive.

No I was definitely on board with you but not after learning they tweeted about it as they went along. Trump would habe sent real special forces. These tweeters with passports I doubt are the real thing or at least weren't on official assignment.

This is a strange f up. If it was cia backed..it's almost like a manufactured crisis to make trump look bad.
Let's be honest, ats could have hatched a better coup down there than what we're hearing about this.

Almost like a Bay of Pigs false flag.

lol - ar receivers can and have been made of ouf FRP, PE, Acrylic and Urethane to name a few there is no high strength requirement because the action is in the upper and the recoil mechanism is housed in the receiver extension, basically if it can hold the hammer in place, not shatter and have a modest temperature rating its fine for use. Also the company has access to .leo weapons and the great state of Florida cash and carry laws if that failed. Ghost guns is a name some dumb a democrat came up after playing too much call of duty - ghosts are etheral beings of electical energy that pass through solid objects, unserialized guns are the same as they were for 500 years, solid objects which our gun laws specifically enable the manufacture and use of, they can pass through solid objects and shoot real bullets. One of my old coworkers fled nicaragua instead of being forced into service with the regime and used to laugh at news about arsenals - it's common for a random home in some random village to have 20+ guns many of them actual military weapons.

There is gaggilions of cheap military weapons throughout south america in private hands that are sold for next to nothing and often come from local manufacturers that back door non serialized goods at prices up to 1/2 what you might pay for something in the US as a military chain of procurement. IE 300 for an M4 instead of 600 the military pays FN/COLT for one now. Any serious attempt would use weapons that function best in that environment though like an ak47 or FAL where there is plentiful supply of guns, parts and ammo and the stopping power especially when you might be faced with barriers and armor is much higher.

In regards to the strange photo op, its plausible and even likely that the regime simply pulled a bunch of random stuff they could find to fluff up the confiscated equipment for the picture. I would say it was for ratings targeted towards a domestic audience.

Half that stuff probably was never in the detainees' possession.

Ah, so using the propaganda of a real murderer, Maduro, for what exactly?...

We don't even know if it is true their intent was to go after Maduro. They could have been hired for something else. Maduro has an entire army, including communist Cuban special forces helping him. Two former military against an entire army of thugs?...

If they had been there for a military operation they wouldn't have used their passports. It's possible they went there to help extract someone important whom wants to leave Venezuela and is on the sights of the Maduro dictatorship...

Maduro is lying just like fidel castro used to lie, I hope he is roasting in hell with hitler.

Communists and socialists never blame their dictatorial policies, they always blame "capitalism and capitalists..." hitler also blamed the capitalist Jewish people as an excuse to go after them, and the nazis/hitler used false propaganda trying to incite the other German people against Jewish people...

Maduro is trying to claim his dictatorship is a "democracy" and is shifting the blame away from himself, his policies and those of Chavez...
