Something I do not see on my local news or in headlines is this coastal raid that occured in Venezuela on Sunday May 3. I honestly thought it would be all over the news, but then again the point of the Covert Op Viral Intel Deception is to cover these kinds of actions up from the public by saturating fear of the cold on national news. Authorities arrested two individuals on land and killed eight others as they tried to approach by speedboat. Is this the Bay of Pigs redux some of us were expecting?? Of course, all the units being PMC lends plausible deniability to the respective governments.
One of these men provided security for POTUS in the past at rallies. Click the image for more images.

Venezuela: 2 US 'mercenaries' among those nabbed after raid
CARACAS, Venezuela (AP) — Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro said authorities arrested two U.S. citizens among a group of “mercenaries” on Monday, a day after a beach raid purportedly aimed at capturing the socialist leader that authorities say they foiled.

Maduro held up a pair of blue U.S. passports, reading off the names and birth dates on them in a nationwide broadcast on state television. He showed images of the fishing boats the alleged attackers rode in on and equipment like walkie-talkies and night-vision glasses collected in what Maduro called an “intense” couple of days. He blamed the attacks on the Trump administration and neighboring Colombia, both of which have denied involvement.

Before dawn on Sunday, officials say the first attack started on a beach near Venezuela’s port city of La Guaira, when security forces made the first two arrests and killed eight others attempting to make a landing by speedboats.

The two U.S. citizens arrested Monday were identified as as Luke Denman and Airan Berry, both former U.S. special forces soldiers.

Florida-based ex-Green Beret Jordan Goudreau said earlier Monday that he was working with the two men in a mission intending to detain Maduro and “liberate” Venezuela. Goudreau has claimed responsibility for the operation.

The two served in Iraq and Afghanistan with him in the U.S. military, Goudreau said, adding that they were part of this alleged mission in Venezuela called “Operation Gideon.” The aim was to capture Maduro.

Detailed explanations of the operation are available on the AP article. Getting hotter and hotter everyday it seems. I have also read reports today of a coup underway in the state of Qatar. I will be updating on that as soon as possible.

Interesting, I'd read about this yesterday, sounds like hired guns were sent to test the water. Now the Intel is gathered are we likely to see the 'real' attempt..... was it a dry run?

Well I just hope they can make it back home. Once you survive an op like this, its best to retire when you come home. Lets not forget the American pilot shot down over Libya last year. It took the Saudis about three months to secure his release.

Down there, it is going to take Russian diplomatic assistance unfortunately to get them free.

I've looked at this story from every angle and couldn't make sense of it. One of the most bizarre things I've looked into in a while. Something isn't adding up.

Why would they have passports if they were sneaking into Venezuela?

Soldiers don't carry passports...

Sucks to be them things will not end well for them.

They just as easily could have been there on their own versus being sent.

Paid operators will, especially these types, they may need to dump and hump their own way back over the border.

The Americans will be fine. It may take some time, but you will see a homecoming for them before the end of the year. A discreet one though.

Any of the non-Americans will unfortunately be tortured and killed/disappeared.

You would think the passports would be fake at least.

How this develops will decide on their survival ...... sadly.

That's what adds to my thinking this was a half arsed attempt with low value assets.

That's exactly what I was thinking when I read that. I guess they also had hotel reservations at the Caracas Hilton (if there is such a thing).

There's definitely something fishy about this.

Trump already denied any involvement.... doesn't bode well for them

Mercenaries take their chances. High risk; high reward.

It does look like a dry run. If this was going to have any chance of success there would have been forward observers and warnings to abort the mission for any reason. Looks like these guys were the exploratory committee.

you would think an American pilot shot down over a county literally in the midst of an international war would suffer a bad fate, but he was released only months after being shot down. These guys will come home to see their families again, it just so happens the Russians will likely be expecting some prisoner release in return.

A couple dozen guys try to raid an entire country with $150,000 worth of gear.

Fools!!
