I ask all my clients who have had Covid if they know whether they caught EBV (Epstein-Barr Virus) previously. I know Dr warned me after I had a really bad bout of Glandular Fever/EBV back in the early '80's at Uni that I might find I would have days where I would feel tired or more susceptible to other viruses. Touch wood I haven't had either except for the odd sore throat or cold. I did have a short period after my divorce where I would have an afternoon nap for a month or so, but I put that down to the stress of divorcing a lawyer! lol!

Yes, the 'glass lungs' was as a result of secondary pneumonia, it's a phenomenon of pneumonia. Not sure whether that can be connected to Covid now or as a result of older people getting pneumonia as a 'result of' Covid. There's not much talk about the glass lungs anymore. More talk about the coagulopathy in the lung, kidneys and liver mainly.

My spouse is one of those with long term lung issues from Covid. She is in her mid thirties, healthy, and has the ground-glass opacities in the lungs. They now think the lung damage could be permanent. It sounds like she has run a marathon after coming up the single flight of stairs into our house. She caught pneumonia about a week after testing positive for Covid.

My main concern is what I have stated over and over on ATS. The 2nd and 3rd time you catch the virus is what is going to shock people.

Hope you and your wife pull through OK.

I've read yeasterday, or the day before, about a South American place (Beach City or Town) where the scientists were sure 60-70% of the population had already had the virus first time round.
They are now seeing what may be a resurgence of the virus, and this has them puzzled at the moment.
ie, they are observing the situation.

Well, England have now made it law to self isolate if you or any household member has any symptoms, with fines (if isolation is breached) starting at £1000, up to £10000. These fine also apply to employers (10k) who don't send an employee home who displays symptoms.

They are using the track and trace system to implement it, and are trying to soften the blow by giving £500 to the people who are to isolate. So that means if you've put your name and contact number down anywhere recently, or have installed and registered for the new track and trace app, you could get a message at any time to self isolate (inc the household) by law.

It's only being implemented in England atm, and looks like it could be coming to countries NEAR YOU

Here's the UK's official website explaining it all.

Scary reading for a conspiracy theorist.

I am a “long hauler” sadly.
My doctor believes
I had an undiagnosed case back in March (never ran a temp over 100 degrees, had multiple symptoms, and never fit the criteria for testing).

I tested negative 2 times for mono, never had chronic fatigue or EBV. I was off work for 2 months, went back to work, and 3 months later, started feeling like i did before. After multiple tests and a few COVID tests, (negative results), I now have an active case of EBV with a side of chronic fatigue.

I’m waiting to see if I am going to pull a hat trick, and see if fibromyalgia will be added.

Monday Tokyo time 8:00 p.m.

Japan reports five deaths due to the coronavirus.

Tokyo has 85 new confirmed cases for the day for a population of 14 million people.

It's sad that I'll have to repeat myself again concerning the statistics they're in America about the deaths.

I can't believe that America has over 200,000 people that have died exclusively from the coronavirus.

China has 1.4 billion people and according to Chinese government statistics only 85,000 people have died from a coronavirus.

Any Mayor that loves his people and who is competent would never ever enforce those type of draconian laws or situations among his people.

this type of virus or whatever it's called or whatever it's doing to the human body is not going to go away.

People will get it, some people get minor symptoms, some people will have to live with those symptoms for perhaps the rest of their lives due to the damage that it will and I will say will do to the human body and mine, and sadly some people will actually die from the root cause of the coronavirus itself the coronavirus.

Sorry to hear about your condition there really terribly sorry.
You've been so active on this forum regarding the coronavirus and share the wealth of information with all of us
.
From a natural point of view of treating oneself it's very hard to really pinpoint what would work but we know that garlic and honey has some pretty good stuff to it.
That's all I really want to say and have to share.

The loophole is that it’s up to you to sign up to the app. Once you’ve downloaded that and signed in, then it’s as good as having a tracking chip implanted... well, almost - I suppose you could leave your phone at home and/or switched off.

If there were nefarious ambitions to track us all with vaccine deliver tech, then a huge question will be how do they process and analyse that info. What good are all those locations without parallel info to give those locations meaning and therefore allow algorithms or whatever to flag up something of potential interest.

Ergo, this phone app would be the ideal operation to trial run the workflow in case any adjustments need to be made before the vaccines are administered.

I don’t find all this particularly likely, up just hypothesising.

Open letter by doctors and researchers in Belgium

docs4opendebate.be... (Signed by 588 medical doctors, 1678 medically trained health professionals and 11995 citizens)
"After the initial panic surrounding covid-19, the objective facts now show a completely different picture – there is no medical justification for any emergency policy anymore.

The current crisis management has become totally disproportionate and causes more damage than it does any good.

We call for an end to all measures and ask for an immediate restoration of our normal democratic governance and legal structures and of all our civil liberties."

"The most vulnerable groups can be clearly identified. The vast majority of deceased patients were 80 years of age or older. The majority (70%) of the deceased, younger than 70 years, had an underlying disorder, such as cardiovascular suffering, diabetes mellitus, chronic lung disease or obesity. The vast majority of infected persons (>98%) did not or hardly became ill or recovered spontaneously.

Meanwhile, there is an affordable, safe and efficient therapy available for those who do show severe symptoms of disease in the form of HCQ (hydroxychloroquine), zinc and azithromycin. Rapidly applied this therapy leads to recovery and often prevents hospitalisation. Hardly anyone has to die now."

I agree and haven't and won't nstall the app. However certain places now won't let you in unless you have the app, and those certain places will no doubt increase to 'most' places.

Didn’t know you needed for particular places. But a quick google indeed confirms that some U.K. pubs are refusing service if you don’t have the app? All things considered I think all pubs should do this.

I appreciate that some think the virus isn’t what it’s purported to be, making this app purely a social control tool. You may well be right! But I’d rather live in a world in which rich idiots think they can control the masses, than one in which a virus has been allowed to mutate freely and ravage us continually because the masses were afraid of being tricked.

If the virus is real then the dumb gob#es spreading the virus because they can’t handle laying low for a year have a lot of blood on their hands. These idiots would’ve been partying with the lights on during the Blitz and getting the neighbourhood bombed, then winging that it’s not their fault and they shouldn’t be criticised for being young. Fine, let them party by night and clean the Covid wards by day without any PPE, Cos “the virus ain’t real”.

I'm glad someone else is concerned about this!
It seems as though we are sacrificing huge civil liberties and curtailing freedoms just for Covid.
I'm not saying it's a complete fabrication but i hope i am not alone in thinking this is all going a bit too far.
4 year olds wearing useless masks (seriously the masks we all know are useless unless N95 grade with proper fit), lonely elderly not allowed to see their loved ones (which is probably more likely to kill them), entire sectors of the economy falling apart - and yet, our hospitals here were never overwhelmed...
it makes no sense.

We were told the initial lockdown was to save the nhs - so that it was not at breaking point. The thing is, it never was.
Nightingales were made but never used. So Covid, although terrible for some and of course we must try and mitigate the risk of it - is seemingly being used as an excuse for restricting freedom and turning life upside down.

I'm just worried about where this is heading and seemingly without question by many. And if you do, you are labelled with the 'David Icke' crowd. We need more reasonable people debating these new laws.
Luckily some Tory rebels are questioning it and want to scrutinise new measures before they are given the green light. www.theguardian.com...

Concerning:

Thread on some of the new laws:

This is truly terrifying:

MP Tobias Ellwood proposing that military oversees mass-vaccination of Britain, and issuance of VACCINATION CERTIFICATES for international travel. Member of 77th Brigade, the psychological warfare unit which "assists" Cabinet (via Rapid Response Unit) in shaping public discourse.
