It is far more likely that your not so its not denial so much as it is logical reasoning.

The person who said "I am not infected" has no way of knowing this. That is not reasoning, that is denial.

Phage we all live in a constant state of denial, its how we mentally cope with being mortal beings , its necessary.

Depends upon how long one depends upon it. Because it doesn't change reality. And when it results in irresponsible behavior, it is damaging.

False . If a Person who Thinks they did not Contact the Virus has not shown the Symptoms of it over a 3 Week Period , then they for a FACT did not have it .

No but it does change our perception of reality i.e. making it livable or un-livable .

And what your suggesting in my opinion would be un-livable.

Yes. If they have had no exposure to any other human during that time.
You are correct.

But I know for a fact that this is not the case with the person who said that. Unless they have previously lied.

While I agree , technically Covid-19 can be carried with out showing any symptoms its extremely rare but possible.

We act as if every person is currently infected regardless of symptoms.

Not every person, no.

But it's quite livable, as a matter of fact. Not ideal, but livable. I've been doing it for three weeks now.

The study supports what I said , some Covid-19 carriers are asymptomatic .

I don't consider 17.9% to be "extremely rare." Do you?

17.9% of the currently infected is about 90,000 people give or take, so out of nearly 400,000,000.

Yea thats extremely rare at least to me, these are USA numbers I'm talking. had to edit itwas 90,000

It says 505,000 active cases in the US.
Do you think that represents all infections?

The study supports what I said , some Covid-19 carriers are asymptomatic .

How about the sixty people who volunteered to give blood in Italy, said they had never been exposed to the virus, but 40 of the 60 had antibodies when tested...

I think it's probably not that rare, and it's probably been circulating awhile. Wider antibody testing would give us answers to this an other questions, and give us more accurate modeling , but we're coming up on month four and that seems to be an afterthought...

I support the theory that its been circulating here for a while , I've been doing a bit of research just around my town.

I was sick in November and I never ever get sick, I tested negative for Flu so the Doctors prognosis was a mystery virus. Now I've asked around my town and atleast half the people I ask were sick around the same time frame, now it could be coincidence of course, but it could be Covid-19 . I wrote a forum about it a while back, with out the medias fire storm Covid-19 would be nothing more than just a mystery virus or as doctors say " there must me a Virus going around "
