My sales manager was so stressed out he thought he was infected. His Doc said it’s stress and he had no real symptoms. I reminded him of the best cure for stress, so him and his wife are taking a long weekend to reconnect. I hope everyone is as resourceful.

Well, my wife now has it. She got it from one of two coworkers who tested positive on Tuesday. Her office, where she was one of only five people still coming in of close to fifty, told everyone else in this office and their others to stay home on Wednesday.

She has a mild fever, aches, chills, can't smell or taste much and is extremely tired. Other than that she is currently fine and doesn't need to visit a hospital.

I'm hoping that's the worst of it for her and she recovers easily.

Thanks. It doesn't seem to be serious at this time,

Thanks, so far it's just some relatively mild symptoms. As of today she's tired but out of bed.

Just saw this. It seems as if being healthy and strong (maybe athletic) lessens the severity so in your wife's case hopefully she will recover quickly and fully.

I know of a few cases, indirectly through folks at work, our hospital appears to be shipping out cases to hospitals in the next counties. The couple most recently in very bad shape were both in their 70s and the wife had underlying health issues and the husband did not. She was on her way to check out on Sunday and was given some drugs (not sure what) and was able to give the thumbs up just on Tuesday so there was much improvement. The husband, although hospitalized, did not have as severe symptoms as his wife. She was dying on Sunday and will likely recover, amazing.

Good luck to you and your wife, hopefully when it hits you it will be mild as well...

She's in very good shape physically, she was a collegiate athlete and still plays semi-pro. Not sure if it helps but it appears that this didn't effect her too badly.

My sister just called me crying. One of her closest friends from NJ is in the hospital with Coronavirus.

We hadnt heard from him since March 18th on Facebook, she became worried as this is unusual for him, she contacted practically everyone on his Facebook and got the news.

She was able to get thru to him on the phone, he kept telling her he didn’t know how he got it and insists he hadn’t gone out at all.

She’s a mess right now 😪

The virus can survive in the air, carried Along by the wind for 20 minutes or so. You don't have to go outside. Just opening the windows can allow the virus to come in.

But very very few die from it. Your friend will be okay!

I’m not so sure; he’s had heart issues prior. I was not aware of the open windows thing.

Thank you, he is in my prayers!

My dad, sister in law, and other farther removed relatives got it. My dad almost died. He is still recovering.

My coworkers mother got it and died.

My neighbors got it and the wife died.

Lots of others I know may have it but they cant get tested yet because they dont have severe breathing problems.

Its real in NYC. I dont know about other places in the US. Our ambulances are like bees lately and plenty of us know people who got it with varying effects.

From what I can gather after talking to people here, many cases we know about personally were not so bad while plenty of others almost died or outright died.

I also cannot be around my sister right now because she works alongside 3 people who have contracted the corona virus, so it’s only phone calls for now.

I spoke with my neighbor on the phone today (she is a psyche nurse), and what she told me is beyond alarming. Running out of ppe, stupid co-workers staying at work with fevers because they didn’t want to lose sick time (wtf), Just great!

She says it’s bad!

My son has it but it doesnt seem to be severe for him. Fever, cough and a sore throat. So he is fairing well, me not so much. Im one stressed out momma since he lives in St Louis and they still refuse to test him even so his supervisor's test came back positive. They say that he is young and healthy and to come back if he has trouble breathing. Which makes sense I guess but gawd I worry, I worry alot.

I know 5 people personally. 2 are in their late 20s..one getting better, the other still very rough after 2 weeks.
Another is late in 30s, long haul but getting better, the 2 others are around 50, self quarantined and awaiting results.

Through friends there are a few others, 2 deaths on the cruise ship in Japan. Another was asymptomatic, had no idea, was not taking things serious, now their child is quite ill.

This all is becoming a serious drag
