Might be getting it. I ordered a jacket online and they sent it via Fed Ex. It is now located about a 17 hour drive away at last update yesterday. And they added two days to estimated delivery. Pretty suspicious activity...

Update: 90 minute drive, cut two days. Now back to Monday....crazy.

Perhaps a little perspective from our own population on ATS can help us better view the big picture and possibly help us all deny ignorance, exaggeration...and even panic.

We have members from all over the world, while this thread is not a scientific study, it may give a little perspective on how true all of the news and online reports have been.
So, statistically, you may be correct in you opinion but some may find this thread beneficial.
Either,
1. We are being lied to about the mortality rate of the CV and they are not telling us to keep from having mass panic. OR
2. They are over exaggerating the seriousness of the CV to cause mass panic.
From the reports I have seen, I am leaning towards 2.

A week before Christmas I had symptoms very similar to cornavirus.
I am a very healthy person so I was really down for two days, and a few days of recovery and I was back to myself.
I'm old enough to have had the flu and cold and this was neither.
I called many relatives and told them it was the weirdest sickness I've ever had. #1 I was shaking, #2 my cough was dry and there was no snot (excuse my description).
Nobody thought anything of it because we had not heard of coronavirus at that time.
The very next week we started hearing about stuff in China.

I still wonder if Cornavirus already made its rounds in Wisconsin. This year we had an unusually high number of people with the flu. I wonder if it was really coronavirus.

Funny you would make this thread. I just got sent home from work because I’m sick with some mystery illness. Fever, sore throat, trouble breathing, headache, sweating and freezing at the same time.

So yeah, I probably have it. Looks like my time is probably up.

Drink hot water with ginger & honey
Eat chicken broth boiled with ginger & garlic. Put garlic in everything you can eat.
Use hot pepper & cayenne in everything you can stand.
sip hot drinks all day. Do not drink cold drinks.
Lay with your head elevated
sit in the shower as hot as you can stand it
drink more hot water with ginger and honey.

I only say this because I think I might have had this in December and this is what I did and got over it. I'm not saying it is a cure, but it surely can't hurt either.

Like a few others on here my answer is maybe. After a run in with a woman who just came back on a flight and was not feeling well herself I got the strangest illness I have had in a long time. I had a 102 fever a horrible cough and nothing else. I did not have watery eyes, I did not sneeze and if I did not have the cough you'd really not know I was sick. It started on a Thurs. early morning like 4 am. Yea, I keep some strange hours. Friday I had no fever but the cough. Made it through work on Friday. Fortunately, Saturday I had off but the fever came late morning and the cough got worse. By mid-day Sunday my fever was down to 99-100. My lungs felt heavy and it felt like a lingering irritation in the bottom of the neck under the Adams apple part. By Monday my fever broke and I shook off it off almost completely by Tuesday except for feeling a little run down and the random cough here and there by Thursday I was back to full strength. The others who I work with and got it, from the same woman I believe, took much longer to recover. They were sick for at least three weeks with one coughing for four weeks. It seemed for them that it actually came back after they felt much better after the first week like they got hit again with it. They came up to me a few times asking me if I got hit again like they did. Out of everyone I fared the best. Part of me kind of hopes it was and I've built up some immunity. I have a feeling this is going to be a busy month.

Additional citizens will contract coronavirus because Nancy Pelosi withheld the eight billion dollars until after the Super Tuesday Democratic primaries.

If those symptoms are how we diagnose this then i had it in December, which is not entirely out of the question given I receive about a dozen packages from Ebay and Amazon every week. I was tested for influenza but it came back negative. Seriously though, if i ever did have it I doubt I would ever know.

Still healthy in Tennessee but I'm dreading getting it. Im recovering from 4 surgeries in this past year one of which was life threatening along with sepsis. (Hysterectomy resulting in a severed ureter and my doctor unknowingly perforated my colon resulting in sepsis and then the need for a colostomy. 9 months later I went in for a reversal surgery and to repair 2 hernias.) I've spent enough time in the hospital that I refuse to go back for any reason what so ever. Coughing causes me serve pain in my abdomen and may cause more irreparable damage at this point due to massive scar tissue. I would rather be in the percentage of people that doesn't make it than have to deal with any more hospitals.

Anyways both my kids have been sick over the last week and a have been with something nasty and ive just chalked it up to being a flu. We have been giving them therapuetics with good results and I have avoided the hospital at all costs I do not want my family to be quarantined as I am unsure of the real severity of the virus, too me it seems to be hype and I dont want to be a pawn in the democratic agenda here. With that being said I was appalled by the douche bag from oregon that broke the quarantine and dont want to be like him.

#1 thing I would say is different with Cornavirus is that it is a dry, no snot, no dripping, a dry cough too. Starts with a fever but then fever goes away, and then there is shortness of breath.

I believe that I 'know' someone personally in Rhode Island that very likely has it. They haven't been able to shake whatever they have had for weeks, and a couple days ago started with the shortness of breath on exertion symptom. Also, they claim their 'cat started wheezing'. It could be influenza, because they refused to get tested, but it could also be conceivably COVID-19. The cat catching it too is a little odd for influenza, but I can't confirm any of this by physical exam because I don't live in Rhode Island (I wouldn't want to expose myself to this situation anyway). This patient is on self-imposed home quarantine now; so, that is best for all whatever it might turn out to be in the end.

My symptoms started about three weeks ago and boom they cut off the same night.

I was on fire
Coughing/shortness of breath ( smoker )
Inability to concentrate
Unsteady gait
Mental confusion
Vomiting
Which combined to make me aggressive with no filter .

I can’t quite put a finger on it .
