"A person in Washington state infected with coronavirus has died, according to the Seattle and King County Department of Health. The fatality marks the first death associated with the virus in the United States. The health department had no further details at the time of the announcement, but plans to announce more Saturday afternoon.
The death comes after U.S. health officials have warned that coronavirus now appears to be spreading within the country from person to person independent of any foreign travel. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention acknowledged three such cases, known as community spread, in the U.S. late Friday night."

I wish the information on these deaths would say if the person was old or frail, whether the person was on meds for asthma, or whether the person experienced pneumonia or sepsis in conjunction with the virus.
It would be easier to stress preventative measures of the disease causing milder or more severe versions if we actually had some research evidence to look at.

That would be TMI.
We are not ready for that kind of info.
IMO if the persons was old, sick or very young it would of been mentioned.
I am betting the person was not old and was healthy.

There are HIPAA (patient privacy) regulations to consider. In many cases such personal information cannot be disclosed without the (sometimes written) consent of the patient and/or next of kin.
