My brother is in S Korea and affiliated with the base that is on lock down with 1 person infected. He mentors young Army recruits from the base and he is out and about the community in S korea. Last check tonight S Korea has over 2900 people infected with Covid 19.

I guess I see the worst case from this being the wide-spread social disruption of Spanish Flu where most people lived but most were just home sick and couldn't carry on for a period of time. It caused trouble keeping things going.

On the medical end, those who needed serious care were too many for hospitals to cope with in any reasonable manner, so they were overwhelmed and more died there than needed to. It also helped spread the disease too.

And finally, because everyone got sick all at once, everyone who was going to die, died all at once. That overwhelmed morgues and the burial capacity, creating piles of bodies.

It's the scenario you see in China right now, and it does have the potential to happen here if we can't keep the spread slowed enough.

But realistically, most of us will come through it all just fine at a personal level. Society? Your guess is as good as mine. It should recover too, but there will be some bumps.

That video of China in lock down does not look like panic in the sense that people are at their wits end or wild Hollywood style doom porn type chaos. It does look like Martial law that have those totalitarians living their dream "in paradise". It is total control of movement and isolates people inside where air quality can't be better for them than outside, especially with no factory's burning coal right now. If it weren't for food, no one would be allowed outdoors. It is smart to not touch rails and buttons on elevators 365 days a year anyway. I always use the knuckle of my finger on elevator buttons and still I wash my hands shortly after that.

Good observation. Watched a movie last night, the title of which I cannot remember now.

In short, a pharmaceutical company released a virus, which killed the majority of the population. A scientist found a cure made from the distillate of a purple flower, but the pharmaceutical company grabbed it and kept it secret.

Time travel was an aspect of the plot, but what interested me was the idea. I don't trust Big Pharma. Haven't since my first job as a pharmacy tech in the 70's.

This may be unrelated to your decode, but it made me think of the fox connection, the _C_I-Aye, and a cryptic puzzle.

Rel, is Fox in C_eyeA's crosshairs? (Didn't somebody recently bring up a tweet from that 3-letter agency back in Sept. showing a cryptic message with a fox. One of the replies to that puzzle was that it looked like the fox, which was behind a railing, appeared to be in the crosshairs.)

Generally Q is pretty specific, so 3 layers of protection? Marines, SS and M.I.?
