Fort Bragg is warning the public that suspicious looking military activity could erupt on private land across multiple North Carolina counties next month as part of a cryptic Special Forces training exercise.
This could include hearing explosions and seeing soldiers acting as ”guerrilla freedom fighters,” according to a release from the U.S. Army John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School at Fort Bragg.
Exact times, locations and exercise specifics are not being publicized, officials said in the release.

No, it's a defense pact.
If the Turks do that, the wild card is what Russia's response will be.
Cheers
JUST IN: Former Vice President Joe Biden reversed course Friday on his claim that he was arrested in South Africa during apartheid -- saying instead that he was simply “stopped” and not allowed to “move where I wanted to go” as he sought to meet with Nelson Mandela.
“This day, 30 years ago, Nelson Mandela walked out of prison and entered into discussions about apartheid,” Biden said at a campaign event in South Carolina, as reported by The New York Times. “I had the great honor of meeting him. I had the great honor of being arrested with our U.N. ambassador on the streets of Soweto trying to get to see him on Robbens Island.”
At another event in Las Vegas, he said that Mandela thanked him for getting arrested.

It occurs to me that this could be devastating to China's economy. Beyond the obvious and supply chain disruption, you have companies like Apple moving production percentages to Taiwan, for example. Between tariffs and general uncertainty of the various trade battles China is involved in (US, EU, etc), that workshare is extremely unlikely to come back once it leaves.
The hard part about moving production is the capital investment into new factories, hiring/training workers, establishing and disrupting supply lines. Once that has been spent and the lines already disrupted, as with this virus outbreak, the foreign companies have paid that cost. Basically zero incentive to go back to China once you're out.
They have to be near-panic as this goes on.
U.S. Border Patrol agents discovered yet another cross-border tunnel that runs beneath the streets of Nogales, Arizona. They say this is the 126th tunnel they've discovered in the Tucson sector in the past 30 years. It's the second discovered mid-completion in the past year.....

CV is real. It’s just being hijacked and used as a FF.
Panic is not smart with this. I am inclined very much to believe a purge of unwanted Citizens can happen with this false narrative of extremely deadly. China and Iran have unwanted citizens doing unwanted protests. The world is watching and they could use this a cover for some awful Pol Pot like purges.
......Nadler also is questioning Barr about his involvement in other cases related to friends and associates of Trump and about internal investigations into department employees who investigated Trump after the 2016 election.
“Although you serve at the President’s pleasure, you are also charged with the impartial administration of our laws,” Nadler wrote to Barr. “In turn, the House Judiciary Committee is charged with holding you to that responsibility.”
The committee is asking for briefings on the issues listed and interviews with 15 Justice Department officials involved in those matters, including the four prosecutors who resigned from the Stone case.....
