Not sure if this has anything to do with the virus, but...I seem to remember a chinese woman being caught entering Mar a Lago back in March:

Yujing Zhang tried to breeze through security and was caught. They found 4 phones, a laptop and a thumb drive on her. When SS used to the thumb drive on a computer it immediately started installing files.

After entering her hotel room they found 9 thumb drives, 5 SIM cards, several credit and debit cards, 8k in cash, and a device to detect hidden cameras.

Who was she? A Chinese spy? I tried looking into her background but didn't come up with anything. Maybe someone with better skills could dig into it some more. It could be one tiny piece to this puzzle. (Or not)

The Next Outbreak from 2015

Pretty much from what I am deciphering here from all the sources MSM, social media, YouTube independent talking heads, (you guys are awesome by the way) I think we are all going to catch this illness, when I dunno, allot of the information is skewed like the R0 the pneumonia symptoms etc. I am pretty sure we are gonna get sick from it eventually, some will just get the sniffles some may get pneumonia, some may pass away. Hopefully it does not become wide spread like in China, at the moment and hopefully and let me stress it does not mutate for the worse. The focus, I presume now those who have the most info, on this thing are scrambling for a vaccine. In a nutshell I think that is how this story is gonna go. Why do I think this... The infected numbers that are being reported, not the ones that are not, are rising.. Daily I will be following the same program watching my news sources to get ready for it, hoping for the best, preparing for the worse.

I think this only proofs that they really were highly aware of the risk of a new virus, certainly after Sars and Mers and I'm guessing it's one of them in that background. (maybe we did dodged a bullet with those two).
Same for event 201. The similarities are not proof that this outbreak is a planned event, like some claim, but proof that there was a huge awareness of the potential global risk and those involved did an amazing job making an accurate simulation.

makes you wonder about all the other simulations on other topics that are done.... because if one thing, this shows that once they start doing them, there is need for it and the threat is real.

Maker22, thank you for this post. I, too, have wondered about that! Many of our soldiers developed Gulf War Syndrome after the invasion of Iraq. Some claimed it was because they took vaccines to innoculate against Saddam Hussein's biological weapons. It's possible the vaccines aided in the disease' spread. Interestingly enough, the French soldiers refused the vaccines and therefore, did not come down with Gulf War Syndrome.

So, instead of the vaccine helping the chinese citizens, it aided in making it worse. Would be one explanation why only China seems to be dealing with all these deaths.

Explaining why the numbers in China changed. They changed their diagnostic criteria and are reporting on that. Now diagnosis depends on chest x-ray/CT scan showing signs of pneumonia. They aren't waiting for PCR testing. Since they can do way more CT scans, the numbers went up, but how many people really thought what we had been seeing was an accurate accounting.

Now, the question will be if they continue to spike up wildly as days go on, or if they level off to a more modest rate of increase.

Also goes into a study how sleep and lack of sleep affects your immune response.

Xi has been in talks with Trump and he has stated that warmer climate stops the virus' ability to infect to a degree. Would explain why that German tourist didn't manage to infect his 4 fellows in the Canary Islands?

Every time they had a zoonotic event, disease jumping from animals to people, they would start trotting out the same scare articles and facts about how often there is a global pandemic from a strain of disease jumping from animals to people. They one stat they nearly always quote in them is that it tends to happen about every 100 years. We are almost exactly 100 years out from the Spanish Flu.

What they always missed in those previous zoonotic events is that while the diseases could go from animals to people under the right conditions, they never could go from person to person easily enough to form a sustained epidemic.

This one is a sustained epidemic no matter where it came from.

National Day in China is at the beginning of October which puts poor lab tech’s symptom window about the end of October, just when many say it started.

Might be worth testing that by docking the next cruise liner in a more humid, tropical climate to see if that helps inhibit spreading.

It also means that parts of the US are eagerly awaiting spring because it tends to be swampy.

That was from a small change in orf8 of the virus. Its why SARS didnt rip around the globe within a year.

As this is an updates thread I thought I'd give a sort of synopsis.
1) 60,390 cases worldwide as of writing this post (source throughout is BNO)
2) 14,840 new cases in 1 day in Hubei (ground zero). Includes a redefinition of coronavirus. 218 dead which is highest so far (likely these are still not real figures)
3) 4 new cases in Japan incl a 20 something year old dr and a taxi driver. New cases include an 80 year old who died.
4) new cases (?10) in Vietnam and village on lockdown
5) 44 new cases on Princess cruise ship in Japan port bringing total to 218. Not all passengers tested. Some passengers (mainly elderly) being allowed to disembark possibly soon.
6) 8 new cases in Singapore.
7) 1 new case in Texas, US bringing total to 15. Person was in quarantine since 7.2.20 flight.
8) North Korea extends quarantine to 30 days although officially they have no cases. Prevention better than cure right?
9) UK 9th positive case was tested 3 days ago, sent home to wait her fate, then returned to hospital once confirmed in an Uber. Not sure she will get a 5 star review for that one. Talk of possible Paddington area case and GP surgeries getting a thorough clean for first time in ages in Islington and Somerset.
10) officials sacked in Hubei and Hong Kong. The latter one intrigues me most.
11) talk of even more serious quarantine in Hubei. But given that the ship has well and truly sailed I am not sure of the point of this other than to save face? Also thousands more medical staff shipped in from elsewhere. What happened to the last lot (I saw a propaganda video of some nurses who 'voluntarily' shaved their heads to prevent infection spread.)
12) lots of talk re origin of virus. Lots of opinion, little data shared from medical journals. Opinion does not pass peer review.
13) talk of the virus having been released by some unnamed govt to cause a war. Occam's razor dictates (at least to me) that this is more likely to be human error or Darwin having a good laugh.
14) German original case is no longer positive and hasn't infected his mates. Hopefully he will be out of quarantine soon.
15) UK released lots of peeps from quarantine on the Wirral. Wonder if they will update tripadvisor. Apparently none of them admit to threatening to leave in a drunken rage. But I believe Hancock (govt health official) version.
16) Westerdam ship docked in Cambodia. 100 tested and all negative (results were available at the fastest than ever speed within the hour I believe)

I'm sure there's more but it's hard to keep up with and I'm sure we should be looking into the stuff that's known and verifiable (like in the Fukushima thread when we had experts analysing the aerial footage etc). I'm not saying that to be rude to anyone in particular but this is the biggest quarantine event in my lifetime
