Also like to add that they called in before they detonated bombs, so people were usually warned. We lived above a shopping centre [Wood Green], when two bombs went off in the early 90s. Our lampshades swayed and we weren't allowed out the whole day as the road was cordoned off. Later on I developed shell shock even though I wasn't actually scared, only for a few minutes when it happened because I thought it would cave in. Point is, nobody died as they were forewarned and all shops were empty.
Muslim terrorists just walk around with machetes in their hands, shouting and trying to chop people's heads off unexpected.
Terrorism sucks and none are 'better' but I'm rather forewarned because someone tries to make a point, than murdered randomly, because of the hate for our culture and existence.
One is highly annoying, the other is just outright war and cowardly murder.

3,500 people where killed on the troubles.

Wasn't always warnings and attacks on property.

No one has said "all Muslims" only pointed to the inspiration for the violent actions of those who commit attrocities in it's name.

Yeah, the West drops bombs and kills civillians which is inexcusable HOWEVER, the average western citizen doesn't go to the Middle East stabbing, bombing, shooting and God knows whatever else innocent citizens- FACT.

The facts DO NOT care about your precious little feelings and inclination to believe every Westerner except the saint that is yourself, is a racist (probably homophobic too, sure throw that in there) bigot.

I don't think all westerners are racist. I think racists are racist and will.happily point them out.

Like everyone I sometimes fail to recognise sarcasm in the written word.

Your post did surprise me somewhat hence the tone of my response.

You of all people should know that the natural reaction of most Brits in these situations is quite the opposite of 'Run and Hide', bollocks to what governments or whoever else recommend.

And it really boiled my piss that people were trying to turn this into a gun control issue instead of yet another attack by released Muslim extremist.
This country has enough problems without throwing more guns in the mix....and we need to start addressing these problems as a matter of the utmost urgency and with a degree of candour and honesty the authorities seem totally unwilling to do.

Some of us would like to walk around with a hell of a lot more than just firearms.

Not much unanimous about opinions here these days, one end of the nation to the other we are divided on many a topic.

1950s in Egypt IIRC. Qutbism started after the CIA covered him in animal fat and set dogs on him, he had a heart attack/brain damage and came up with radical/political Islam.

Most branches of Islam are peaceful, Qutbs, Wahhabis, Sufi are the more radical interpretations.

Glad the attack was stopped quickly, but should never have happened in the first place due to recent release.

Seems to me that both ideologies are somewhat similar in nature, one hates, the other hates--sometimes the same thing.

The sole caveat being not all Muslims are terrorists, or even sympathize with them. Something that many seem to forget in their zeal/zealotry.
