I don't think President Trump wants that, because millions of Iranians would suffer.

My money's on drones targeting the leaders of Iran. I don't think they can go deep enough underground to avoid the targeted explosive technology we've developed.

Lets not forget the B-52s currently over Iraq.

Iran has 35 targets.

Then we hear that Iran does not want any of its nice buildings damaged.

So they put a Big Red Scary Flag atop one of the buildings that they do not want destroyed.

Are they just bloody stupid.

That flag needs a response.

In fact, that flag alone, never having been seen before, is more than enough for retaliatory strikes.

A nice measured response at this time would be to drone strike the Big Red Scary Flag.

Considering all of the soft spots for Iran with the previous administration, it almost seems like a continuation of Bush's Iraq war. Not a war of liberation, but a war of decimation, intended to enhance the position of Iran. Pretty simple, weaken Iraq and let Iran rush in, as they have.

It's the only explanation for the Iraq war, to help Iran. If you doubt Bush Jr could be pro-Iranian, think back to Iran-Contra. Bush Sr cut a deal with a foreign power to get Reagan elected! Maybe we don't give that conspiracy the weight it deserves.

Iran/Contra scandal happened well into Reagan’s presidency, Bush sold arms to Iran and took the proceeds to fund the contra revolution in Nicaragua.

Unless I am mistaken, that could have no affect on Reagan getting elected in the past.
