Well, the media has been weaponized. We need to be very careful how we read/watch the news.

We should pull only the facts from it, not the emotion. Eliminating adjectives is a good start.

The news now isn't the news of the past. It used to be that you would only get the facts from a newscast. Opinion was labeled as such, and very rare.

Now, everything thing you see in the media has an emotional component, which is poisonous to fact.

ETA, forgot to make my point, and that is that the media cannot be trusted to tell the truth. Their objective now is obviously to deliberately upset people.

Possibly but, they have 'assets' all over the world though they probably been drying up since DJT. Guess it depends how desperate they really are... only Mil Intel knows.
I suspect more Iranian citizens will eventually turn against them due to sanctions. I wonder if Mil Intel has had a plan(s) in place since the Obama regime but were never given the green light.
