Grandmother you look so pale

I think this might be the reason I keep posting as Gail.
I'm forgetting what I look like.
But...if you have forgot, does that mean your subconscious wants you to look like Gail? I am confused.

Any way, sorry you have to wear those horrid masks, the cheap, "Protective Not Much" masks. I hate them, I can handle the proper roundish types, but not those. Every time you breath in they stick to your nose or mouth.

Thank you Owl Lord, for the fire and the song that could accompany a tale or two and the well wishes
I wish you well too.

It reminded me, I miss sitting around a fire, peoples tales would flow into the flames and up into the sky.

Blue did you hurt your arm or is it an old injury?
I do hope you can find a way to re-leave the pain with out venturing out.

I wish I could have invited you all to my lovely day.
The weather was perfect just a breeze to not blow away the raked leaves and warm enough to work in my favorite plaid shirt.
Seven hours of bliss. Raking, pulling, bagging, mowing, chatting with the neighbor and waving at passer by'rs.
I found a poor little toad that I hurried to cover up again. Too early for the wee folk to come out.
Sam enjoyed the sun and poking in the ground, sniffing the air. He can't hear any more and see much less, but scents he picks up on.
The "Homecoming" birds held a concert for me.
It turned cold or I would have had a fire. But that for another day.
Such a good day. Oh and I found an N 95 mask at a local store, it was the last one.
Now i have a proper "Shopping Mask".

Your day sounds lovely. Yes, the songbirds have returned and it's just wonderful. I'm glad you covered the toad back up. I'm sure he was thankful for that.

I had a sleepy day. It will be nice when the weather is a bit warmer and I can sit outside and enjoy Spring.

The correct answer is.... yes.

The source is a 12+ year injury that has never hurt me before this last Saturday evening. How it happened to start pain then I have no clue.

As much as this hurts I really wish that I could find someone with at least a bit of medical training to look at it in person. Telephone conversations only result in second guessing. Yes we have the "virus" or alleged virus to be concerned with. Until I see people dropping around me I'm still concerned with getting help. My weak heart can't take all these nights of 1-2 hours sleep due to the pain that keeps me up.

To contradict myself I did get about four hours sleep after dinner today. Woke up mainly due to hearing my most hated tv commercial on my tv which I left on.

Perhaps the dreams I have been having during these short sleeps have been good for me. Mostly I have no details of the dreams other than having the feeling that I slept while breaking a fever or bad hangover. Today's dream was the strangest as it was about everything being opposite of how it is in the real world. Can't explain it more other than to question what is reality?

So here I sit, debating on if to stay up or not, while the bad arm feels completely numb when left alone but like Hades when touched.

Having some good coffee and it is not even 4 AM. But it's alright. I slept through most of yesterday.

Things became mentally too troubling regarding recent events in this world. So i ditched them, everything except mandatory stuff like eating, drinking water, showers (sauna) and sleeping.

My engine is idling now. But somehow i will get forward anyway. Life seems to carry me forward without much effort sometimes.

Much love and light to everyone.

Hello to all!

I love and miss being here in Shedland with all of you.

I have been trying to catch up on all of your posts, was sick a while and in hospital for the last week, (nothing serious.)

Was in over Christmas also.

I'm all better now!

As I was trying to catch up, I truly wish I could respond to each and every post,

so many thoughts that I would love to share on each one.

But I'm not so great typing a post without Tom's help,

so for now I hope you all will enjoy these songs.

(Going through a Fleetwood Mac phase, lol)

p.s. Tom hates these songs. lol

Hello Blue, Fin and Bug!

Always so happy to see my friends. Have a seat near me. Take some deep cleansing breaths and relax. We can all watch a good movie or listen to music together.

Gail, You do fine writing on your own, so don't be shy. I'm glad you are feeling better and out of the hospital.

HUGS!!!

< sigh >

Trying to crochet anything with two kittens around -- let alone Siamese busybodies -- is a lost cause, isn't it, Night?

Leo, who has more of the tabby half coming through in his personality, gets the "No-no, yarn is not a toy" idea fairly well, he tries real hard to obey that.

But Meeko, with the Siamese half screaming through, has no frigging damns to give. That yarn looks awesome, and he will play with it. Or rather, attempt, almost successfully, to destroy any available length of it

All these damn toys we invested in, and he still wants to solid "No!" items, ugh.

Hahaha! Ah, the joys of kitten-hood and Siamese blood running through their little veins. Hard to say if there is any hope Nyiah, they are like people with personalities all their own. I was shocked that my Siamese was so well behaved. I've never been able to have plants before unless they were hanging from the ceiling and there was nothing the cats could jump on to get to them. This cat is very respectful of my plants and my stuff. It's his big mouth I had to get used to. LOL

Yes, I too have spent all kinds of money on toys and it's the weird simple things that they enjoy most. Do you have a tin or box where you can put the yarn and make a hole in the top to pull the strand of yarn through? Maybe it won't be so enticing that way.

You can make little stars or hearts that are crocheted and decorate with red and green ribbon or something. They make cute ornaments or you can hang them on wrapped gifts.

Hi Gordi!

Don't be too hard on him.

You and I are 70's kids.

We have to give the older generation a break!

But I'll still ping his mask for you.

Do you remember these?

ETA- That second song is special to me now, it always makes me think of my dad,
because, well, there is a place in the world for a gambler.
