I wouldn't want to expose myself to large crowds so perhaps it is best this way, Unless a bone is protruding or you have bruising or serious inflammation I would be content with staying at home.
Just do what you know you have to do.

Me too, having evolved into a super introvert.
I already had a personal safe distance (PSD) to people, not conscious, but three feet was a minimum facing them, not side by side just face to face.

So wonderful to see you again Heff! Sit by the fire and stay a while. We have food and drinks at all hours of the day and night. Or... You can hang out at the Green Forest Inn And Tavern. Or...listen to music, have a grand adventure, ride a dragon and stuff.

Been using an ace, thanks. Using whats left of a small tube of Icy/Hot too. It does a good job of stinking up my room to only help about 1% of the time. I'm lucky to sleep 1-1.5 hours before I turn wrong and the pain wakes me up for 2-4 hours.

This plan of waiting for it to heal isn't working.

I don't know how people can wear those masks all day. We were offered masks for a certain project at work years ago. I think I lasted 5 minutes. It must be so scary working in the hospital now. You have my prayers Tom.

Yes the naps have been going on. This is part of what I'm doing to keep my pulse rate down as it relates directly to how much pain I feel.
